How do you all go about doing this? I'm talking about the yellow Pinnacle pads. I've heard of throwing them away after because they're so cheap. Is there a way to clean them at all. Maybe using like Pinnacle pad cleaner or something? Also, what other ways have you guys cleaned your CCS pads? I have the Pinnacle stuff, but I've also heard of using Oxy Clean and water. Just interested in different ways. Thanks guys!

Try Dawn Power Dissolver found at Walmart.

^ agreed, it's the best thing i've found to clean pads with as well...

I wonder where you heard that.

I toss mine in most cases ... I have found the DP Pad Restorer works well however and Disolver worked on a tire applicator I was using that turned a delicious shade of black !

See Josh, I am not the only one that just toss them out. I tell you what, I will collect all the ones I use and send them to you.:D

Yeah, I clean mine too Josh. Same two products. Either Pinnacle XMT pad cleaner or Dawn Power Dissolver. Paste wax the Dawn works better. Quick and easy and good as new.

Be sure to wear gloves if you handling Dawn for long periods, as it can be tough on your hands.

Dawn dish soap. I wet the pad, apply two circles of Dawn directly on the pad then gently hold and scrub/rub back and forth against itself - rinse well, squeeze almost dry. Comes out like new. My favorite go-to pad is four years old, has been used dozens of times and still looks/works great.

GEWB

I clean my pads as well, Pinnacle and Dawn both woork extremely well. DP Pad Rejuvenator is also an option.

I soak them in DP rejuv for an hour. Then rub most of the wax off with my thumb. Then, I throw then in the wash, on normal/soiled, with the wax removal towels. Using DP microfiber cleaner. It works. I use the 45 min cycle on warm to make sure I get the wax/sealant out.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm heading to Wal-Mart today. I was going to get the Mother's Clay Kit, some Megs Gold Class shampoo, and the Dawn. I'm guessing you use the Dawn on CCS pads as well?

Works great on all pads, but never tried in on MF's.
