have some questions on my progress

Actually the foamed wool will be better, it levels the paint better and will leave you with a better final finish in the end.

Thank you Asphalt. So after using the Wool with SIP step down to orange SIP then White SIP and then finish with blue and Nano?

Thanks

No, you should be able to go with sip/white pad, then 106fa/blue pad.

Thank you guys, really helped me to put all together.
I will try tomorrow the orange/SIP, White/SIP then Blue/Nano and see how it goes and let you know, since I do not have the Purple wool pad yet.

Sorry man...totally missed where you said you were using a Flex. I actually just learned that it's ok to use a foamed wool with the Flex because it has more power. Sorry to have misguided you beforehand.

here are two more pictures that i guess i took today, just found them. the little white spots is just dust, i should have wiped them off before taking the pictures. on the hood picture i am assuming that is the micromarring that the sip and orange pad leave because it is not swirls.

cant wait to get to the point of applying nattys blue on the car.

Looking good.

Can you go SIP on orange pad/ NANO on white pad/ and PO85rd on blue or red pad? once I finish polishing I want to add wg dgps 3.0 for about a hour wipe off wait a day do it again wipe off wait a day and top with fuzion? I was seeing that presidential detail guy does it in one day. I beleive he used optimum poli seal then put two layers of dodo juice super natural. Dont you have to wait 12-24 hrs for wg dgps to bond?

You really should go back over the car with SIP/white if you already did it with SIP/white. It's just that the orange pad will leave some marring that a white pad and Nano won't be able to fully take care of. It's also good, like you mentioned, to leave the WG on for about an hour before you wipe it off.

Try a spot and see if the 106fa/white pad takes out all the haze or marring made by the orange pad, alot times you will need to go sip/white pad, but yes you finish with your blue pad. You need to let dgps sit for atleast an hour before removing and then 24 hours before applying a second coat or another type of lsp. If you do it any sooner you will remove or compromise the bonding of the sealant. So unfortunetly the above way was incorrect.

alright guys, using the sip with white pad right now and kinda getting a lotta white dusting, assuming this means the pad is dry, but when i press on it my hand comes up damp...ive only did the hood and the bumper so far. is it time to change the pad already?

If you are getting dust, you might just need to add a little bit. For example on the Mustang I did in the show and shine I used four white pads. The pad is going to be be damp, but not enough to transfer the product to the paint.

ok thank you sir. will do for sure. its looking good. i really didnt think i was going to tell a difference between the sip/orange and sip white, but it looks a lot better. cant wait to see the gloss after nano and the blue pad.
