Hey guys, I've been doing a little reading about waterspots. After my last wash I noticed alot more spotting, I thought it was due to washing around noon (no garage). When I tried to remove them with some QD it didnt seem to phase them much. After reading, I've learned they will etch themselves into the paint - My car had been rained on about a week ago, and it sat unwashed for roughly a week. I think this allowed to to "set up" enough not to simply wash off. My question is, since i have a pretty fresh coat of wax on the car, do you think they will clay off? I'm going to be showing the car at a national event this weekend, and I would like to get it looking as best it can. I do not have access to a polisher, so im hoping they will come off with some clay.
On another note, What do you guys suggest to remove water spotting that occurs after washing in door jambs and under hood? My normal QD's dont quite cut it (Crystal Mist and Megs UQD) - i was thinking about mixing up some DP 4 in 1 into a kind of potent QD, what ratio would you suggest I cut it?
Thanks.
