Ok so here's a few pics of Mikes kit. These are all afters as I we only had a couple of hours for pre-production, and well I have a lot of stuff to do throughout my day.
I hit it with Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer, Deep Gloss Paint Sealant, and then the next day and usually every day I hit it with Instant Detail Spritz.
I use Stoners Invisible glass to clean the drum heads (not the front kick skin you'll see). And a couple of MF towels.
The kit has some swirls and such, and I never have the time to do a polish to it, and frankly I'd be a little scared to do any kind of aggressive polish to this paint job being it's on wood, and the heat not only can harm the finish, but also he glue holding all the wood plys together that make the shell.
Also pardon the handprint on the front kick head. Those aren't clear coated only airbrushed, so I'm very wary of cleaning those often as the paint is very soft and being on the mylar material of the head, flexs easily and could crack.
And just a FYI this paint job was done by Nub of Nub Grafix and American Chopper fame.
Hope you guys like the view most people never get to see.
Enjoy!
