Ok so here's a few pics of Mikes kit. These are all afters as I we only had a couple of hours for pre-production, and well I have a lot of stuff to do throughout my day.

I hit it with Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer, Deep Gloss Paint Sealant, and then the next day and usually every day I hit it with Instant Detail Spritz.

I use Stoners Invisible glass to clean the drum heads (not the front kick skin you'll see). And a couple of MF towels.

The kit has some swirls and such, and I never have the time to do a polish to it, and frankly I'd be a little scared to do any kind of aggressive polish to this paint job being it's on wood, and the heat not only can harm the finish, but also he glue holding all the wood plys together that make the shell.

Also pardon the handprint on the front kick head. Those aren't clear coated only airbrushed, so I'm very wary of cleaning those often as the paint is very soft and being on the mylar material of the head, flexs easily and could crack.

And just a FYI this paint job was done by Nub of Nub Grafix and American Chopper fame.

Hope you guys like the view most people never get to see.

Enjoy!

I'll try to get some more pics soon from my view LOL.

Also about 73K will get you the full setup (kit, cymbals, hardware, electronics rack)...

No worries... So how about an endorsement hehehe? In return you get a couple of free tickets to the shows in the area LOL

The only thing really custom about it is the paint job. It's just a off the shelf Pearl Reference series kit. There are a few custom touches but those are secret and pending trademark and patent...

Yep thats a fine set.

Thats a mighty fine case for your detailing products. Is it bulletproof?Im the MAN

The case isn't bullet proof, but it is pretty close. That thing has just about every tool I own in it. Goes all over the world with me too.

I would highly recommend a road case like that for the mobile detailer if they are using a trailer.

Think you should tell David and crew that if they give me a signed drum set, they can have the privilege of hanging out with Surfer.

I like the In Flames playlist...did you tour with them too?

Wow, surprised someone picked up on the In Flames setlist. I toured with them twice with a support band, and on a festival tour a couple years back. That's from their European tour. They played the same arena we did the day before we did. It's also the same set they played in Stockholm when I went and seen them there. Amazing show in Europe. It's a shame they can't bring that level of production to the US.

Surfer, no worries I'll pass it on hahahaha!

Yeah I seen them in Vegas in '08...was a very good show but I bet they would kill at one of the euro festivals.

In Flames is badass, I love their older stuff though:

Whats cool is their friends with Soil Work, so the vid for Rejection role is like the reverse of the Trigger vid, like In Flames is the one in teh truck in the beginning going to the club, and in Trigger its Soil Work in the truck heading there

Wow I haven't seen those in a long time, not since I was out with Soilwork.

I like all of In Flames' catalog, but I have to say the newest album is their best stuff in a while. The Chosen Pessimist is an amazing opener live (with the right light show and kabuhki drop)

Here's some more pics for you. We wedged a lot of our gear into a club show in Toronto. It was pretty nuts that we got that much in there...
