Ok...I'll admit it. I am lazy and don't want to take off my tires to do a good wheel well detail. Are their any fairly easy products that I can spray onto the wheel wells after I clean them at the diy high pressure place?

Second question - Can you I use q-tips to clean out the tight areas between window and the paint or into the tiny crevaces (no comment grammar police)?

Any tire foam will do. Of course you can use Q-tips to clean crevaces (crevices). Sorry couldn't help myself.:buffing:

Toilet brush for wheel wells. Yes, it works wonders if you don't want to take the wheels off. Just remember to roll the car forward a few feet to get around the calipers.

It strikes me as very odd that a girl is into detailing as much as you are Jenn. Most girls couldn't care less about their cars!! Good job!!! :dblthumb2:

Had to throw that in there. Now back on topic.

Ahem, Meghan is a girl...........

They make brushes just for wheel wells that are better at it than the Daytona Brush (like Ron mentioned, the EZ Detail/Daytona bristles are to soft/flexible for scrubbing hard dirt out of wheel wells).

This is what you want.

Mothers Fender Well Brush cleans wheel wells beneath the car's fenders. Fender Well Brush has a long handle to scrub behind wheels and tires.

...couldn't care less...
Since someone mentioned the grammar police...everyone take note! This is correct grammar! Not the more popular "could care less." Thank you z-oh!

+1 for the aforementioned brushes. Once they're clean, I just use my regular wheel cleaner (P21S Gel) and the Daytona Speedmaster. You'll be surprised at how clean your wheel wells and wheel barrels will stay when you give them a light cleaning every week. It adds maybe 1-2 minutes to my wash and the wheel wells stay looking brand new, even without a dressing.

What's worse is using the wrong there, their, or they're. Or, your and you're.

i have the mothers brush and it is great for use on my suburban however it will not get into the wheel wells on my lancer ralliart. i have yet to see a brush that will give me the length and desired thinness to get in there.

Glad I'm not the only one who uses them for that. ;) Good job Jenn.

Go grab a slim body toilet brush at Walmart for cleaning the wheelwells. They are less than $2.

Spray wheelwells with APC like Optimum PowerClean. Pressure off , then coat with a cheap aerosol tire gloss spray while still in the bay. Just becareful of wind as it will blow back on finish.

I got the word wheel I missed the word well. I guess that's why I never graduated college. :)

Thanks....and I also love football. My husband says he got the trifecta when we got married last year....A chick that liked cars, had NFL game plan on the TV and can drink him under the table...
