How you like your tires finish?!!

Generally i like a clean looking satin finish, not too glossy, I really like Opti-bond. I think I'll be trying some Mothers Reflections soon, lookin good akimel!

Hahahah see my goal is to try and make the tire look more of how i did right when it came out of the box "Just natural rubber". But dont get me wrong, i too have gone all out with some super duper-dripping wet tires in my recent details hahahah

Same here, I love Opti-bond! I used to use Mother's Reflections but the durability is pretty bad.

I like a clean matte look. I cant stand the greasy shiny look on tires. Its like they dipped their tire in a bath of oil. Very unnatural looking. Right now my favorite tire dressing is DG 253.

If you took a poll you'll find that most Geeks here perfer a matte finish with a little sheen.

I agree about the durability of Relections. Nice looking, but doesn't last for nothin'! I have opti-bond on the way!

Satin is a nice word. :xyxthumbs: I'm not into a glistening finish.

It should pop a little more that a brand new, freshly mounted tire that has never seen a tire treatment, so you know that the detail is FINISHED.

Here's a pic. Just finished claying, cleaning and sealing the rims, then treated the rubber.

I like my tires dark, with a slight shine to them. Nothing greasy looking, and if it doesn't dry to the touch, chances are I won't use it.

I love Opti-Bond.....its the only tire gel I used, cool thing is, you can get either a high gloss or a matte shine from one product, no sling.....love the stuff !!
