Has anyone else tried the Ultimate Protectant Dash and Trim Restorer on exterior black trim?
I tried it, and it seemed to streak alot. I tried it on neglected smooth black trim and it seemed to do ok, but streaked. And it was hard to remove all of the streaks. I also tried it on a mirror and streaked and hazed a little. I was not impressed with my first use. Maybe the streaks diminish as its washed.
Maybe my technique is wrong too, I wiped it on and off with a microfiber cloth, and if I let it dry too long the streaks would get worse. And layering it seemed to dull it down a little. Does anybody else have a different technique in making this product work like its suppose to?
I have tried Blackwow, and it does a much better job with no streaks. But its a little greasy after application, and a magnet for dust. However the Meguiars Ultimate Protectant is dry and does not have a greasy feel. I am just having problems with streaks. Maybe I need a little more experience with this Meguiars product. Suggestions?
