So I am out detailing the pilot today. Got a nice wash with some UWW. The tires never looked better and the hubby walks out. This is the same one who chastises me for buying from the internet because "you can just get some turtle wax at walmart". "Hey that looks great, the local car wash didn't do a good job with the truck (no duh) and would you help me clean the chrome." Since I am a good wife, I broke out some new megs polishing compound and started to shine it up. Looked great, so the hubby gets it and starts using it all over the truck leaving TOGW everywhere. I tried to suggest maybe a different product, but he said this was the right product. I would have offered him some D151 or XMT 360, but he didn't want it and also insisted on using the Sams terry towels when I have a closet of premium microfibers. He did like when I got out the PB TR and did the trim. I was nearly dying the entire time, but it is his truck and he "knows" more than I do.

So for all you married men....Do you ever listen to your wife? We have only been married 18 months and I am hoping any day now he might start listening.

Jenn

We listen when women know what their talking about. In this case you seem to know what your talking about.

Jenn1270 were you saying something ?? Only kidding i always listen to my wife even if i'am wearing headphones when she talks to me.I guess that's one of the reasons we have been married over 27 years. My wife won't even clean her car so you are a rare woman that cares about her car. Most of my woman customers leave dirty diapers in there cars and old food they care less.

I have 5 women in my house. Do you really think I have a vote? My son and I take LOTS of drives together. I have a Lambo, we disappear a lot!

those of us who have been married for a long time do, we might not like it all the time, but we do...

I find " yes dear" works best. choose your battles

Steps for a happy marriage
1.-Listen
2.-Say ok or yes (regardless)
3.-Do it my way anyway unless she is right
4.-If she is wrong and starts telling me how she is right see step 1.

LOL!!!!

My GF couldn't care less about detailing. You're awesome, Jenn! :props:

I LIKE this. The only prob is that many men never admit that a gal may be right. I am the one that just goes "of course dear" and then do what I want to.

I live my life by the moto "Happy wife happy life". It has worked to nearly 10 years.

Been married almost 12 years...wife says I still don't listen. At least I think that's what she said...I wasn't really listening.

Each one teach one...

:D

So in medicine the saying goes....See one....do one...teach one.....

In this case it is....Read about it on AutogeekOnline......do one.....try to convince the hubby you really do know what you are talking about....
