Strong rubber cleaner?

Even at 4:1, Meguiars APC+ didn't completely remove opti-bond from my tires. Should I try 2:1 with APC+? Never heard of anyone using this strong of a ratio. I like to have super clean tires when applying a new coat of opti-bond. Any strong specific rubber cleaners?

Try purple power. You can get it at wal-Mart:props:
 
ARO (Amazing Roll Off) or Optimums PowerClean. P21S Total Wash also would work well.
 
The one thing about Purple Power is it's cheap, I think i paid like 5.00 a gallon.
 
I had never heard of Bleach White until Adam (O.C. Detailing) and I went on a supplies run over the weekend. That stuff works like magic. Just make sure you use a good dressing to keep the tire hydrated. Don't let the matte black look fool you.....

Thanks for the tips. Do you apply it on a dry tire?
 
I spray it on a dry tire, brush it some, add a little water, brush it real good then rinse. Make sure to apply a dressing when dry. I don't have to use it very often, strong stuff.

Just try not to get to much of it on your skin and try not taking deep breaths while you are working with it. It chokes me up and if left on your skin long enough it may cause burns.

As far as breathing any chemicals, I always wear a professional 3M respirator(the ones with the big filters on the sides). I have asthma.
 
You're looking for a rubber cleaner? I haven't used one in a while but when we were kids, we'd just turn it inside out and use it again!
