So here is my new Mustang I got last thursday..I have to say is WOW was the paint in piss poor shape from the dealer..I got it at night and really couldnt tell till I got home..Anyway this is the first black car I ever had and I dont know if its black in general or this car but it is HARD to correct perfectly..I do it in my garage shine my lights on it and it looks PERFECT get it out in the sun and I can still see some imperfections going on that are driving me nuts..Anyway its about 85% better shape then the night I took it home..here are a few snaps

Is this the new 5.0, if not still beautiful....

I was going to get the 2011 but I got a to good of a deal for the 2010 that I can throw on some cheap bolt ons and make up the extra ponies.

There's almost a 100 HP difference between the 10 and 11. That's a significant difference for just a few bolt-ons, IMO. ;)

parts for this car are cheaper then dirt...hell my exhaust I already put on was only $255 and its full stainless with nice polished rolled tips and sounds awesome.

Ya, but a nice set of mufflers isn't gonna make up for 100bhp. You're gonna need to do some serious modding. I'm not that familiar with American Cars, but I am familiar with V8's and there isn't much room to play with a naturally aspirated V8 that will compensate for that much power. Maybe look into a blower.

I love the way Mustangs rumble with a nice set of mufflers, and a nice set of headers.

Awesome.

What kind of exhaust?
The Pypes Violator axle back...I dont really care if it gets to 400hp..I didnt buy the car for all the power really anyway..never raced in my life so not a huge priority on my list..

Exactly my thoughts.

400hp or not it is still a pretty sweet ride:dblthumb2: That means a lot coming from me since I'm not a Ford guy ;)

Congrats on the purchase!!!

Nice purchase! I like your choice of camera gear too... Canon 1D :props:

100 more hp and 6 speed trannys! You must have got an extra good deal to not hold out.

Like I said before..speed and power is not my biggest concern. Plus I am not really into buying first year as this is an all new motor and tranny so who knows what kinda bugs may show up.

i like it alot..it is actually my first Ford..I use to only have toyotas. The build and finish on it is much better then I expected. the ride quality is also very very smooth and comfortable. I am pleased with it
