Well, we're into week #6 and Poli-Seal is still doing very well. Sheeting and beading remains strong. Slickness has definitely diminished, however. Not really surprising, since nothing I've ever come across held their slickness for more than a few weeks (Even Zaino).

Wash process was the same as before.

Foamed with Gold Class Auto Shampoo.
Washed with GC Microfiber mitt.
Blow dry with leafblower.
Wipe dry with microfiber towel.

One thing I did do this time was soak the mirrors and the front bumper with Poorboy's Bug Squash (Diluted 3:1). Beading remained strong on the front bumper, but the mirror did seem to have lost some of it's beading ability. Not sure if it's from the Bug Squash soak, but I definitely noticed a difference.

Week 6 Pics.

The mirror. Notice that the beading is not as high as the ones on the hood. Some of the water even appears to be just clinging on the side.:(

Wow, the side mirror has definitely lost it's protection. Thanks for the update. :xyxthumbs:

It does seem like many sealants lose their slickness quickly, but protect for weeks and months afterwards. I think this is why some many sealants offer spray boosters to re-add slickness.

I'd spray the DP Final Gloss I picked up at DF 5, but I'm curious as to how long Poli-Seal will last with no help from anything.

I applied this on a black 135 that my partners gf owns and it has been 3 months since we applied it. It is still sheeting and beading strong, and that is in South FL
