Why is that?85 is stronger. Plus, I would not use lime prime on toyota's or honda's(not that your going to, just a FYI)
Interesting. :xyxthumbs:It marred the crap out of my wifes toyota. Also, I think Chad(Rasky) marred his honda with it too. It say on the website to be careful with it on Japenese paint. It works great on my Infiniti.
Ahhh, so LP uses non-dimishing abrasives?85 has diminishing abrasives. Lime prime does not. On softer paint it can cause marring, just like M205 can do the same on soft paint. Here's the link to Dodo, I hope it's allowed. Click the bottom"see the ride" then look to the right at the hints and tips.

Yes, it has micro-abrasives like M205 that do not break down. Unless I am grossly mistaken!!Ahhh, so LP uses non-dimishing abrasives?
I emailed dodo and asked them if they consider micro-abrasives the same as non-diminishing. I'm pretty sure they're the same like you said. I'll let you know.Yes, it has micro-abrasives like M205 that do not break down. Unless I am grossly mistaken!!
Lou, I wonder if the miro abrasives are non diminishing and that's what is causing the mirco marring. It can't be the chemicals so it must be the abrasives with little to no lube.85 has diminishing abrasives. Lime prime does not. Probally!! I was dropping F bombs all over the place after I saw the hood. I just looked at M205's description. It has micro-abrasives, so yes lime prime has non-diminishing.Lou, I wonder if the miro abrasives are non diminishing and that's what is causing the mirco marring. LOL! I would have done the same thing.I was dropping F bombs all over the place after I saw the hood.
No, M205 will not finish marr free on some soft paints.Woah! M205 does use SMAT! I highly doubt M205 will marr Honda's paint at all. I am pretty sure plenty of people have used M205 as their last polish on Honda and Toyota's plain with wonderful results.
Are you on the right thread? Who's talking about 205?Woah! M205 does use SMAT! I highly doubt M205 will marr Honda's paint at all. I am pretty sure plenty of people have used M205 as their last polish on Honda and Toyota's plain with wonderful results.

Truth. The black SRT-4 that I just polished out has had almost every panel re-painted at one point or another. On the left quarter panel the paint was real soft for some reason and after M205 I stepped by and thought to myself, what the heck just happened? I hit it with PO85RD and that cleaned everything right up. Most of the other panels finished down great with M205.
