Those who have Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo, question...

Thanks for the info Tad, where did you get the measuring cup? Maybe it's just weird but I have no clue where to find one and can't find one...lol

Like Jumpingbean said; try the dollar store, if that doesn't pan out, I got mine at Walmart...

I put my soaps, apc's, etc. into smaller (32oz) bottles I get at Walmart in the tupperware Isle, I think the bottles are sold as water bottles, they are kind of light blue translucent and have handles built into them.

Nice Tad! Good idea

The measuring cup I use came with one of the products I bought here. I have 2 of them. Can't remember what they came with though... Maybe the Pinnacle Micro fiber wash I bought a while ago...? Don't know Maybe they came with my Ultima shampoo

Yup, Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator!

I got four of 'em, each with a bottle DP MF cleaner from when it was on BOGO.

You know now that you mention it you're right. I use the Megs GC and now that you said it I think I remember reading that once. I just eye it but I suppose I get about 3 oz in there. But I probably use about 4 gallons of water with it.

Using Ultima lately (0.75 oz for the whole bucket) makes that 3 oz seem like a lot!
I finally tried Ultima. It is my new favorite for hand washing. A little goes a long way and it smells & suds great! For the foam gun I love Xtreme Foam by DP!

I love Pinnacle Bodywork shampoo but DP Auto Bath is great as well. Pinnacle definitely smells better but they both smell good. DP is tropical fruit smelling.

While in this thread, might I ask you guys what you use to measure your soap? I know that the bottle proportioners don't work and I need something to dispense it in (without eyeballing, I can't eyeball at all). Thanks,
I use the quart Pro Blend. I add one part car wash to two parts tap water. This lowers the viscosity enough to use the Pro Blend. I set the PB for 3 oz and empty for a gallon of water. I usually use two gallons of water. My go to wash is Optimum. The Pro Blend is a great tool and this makes car wash dispensing really mess free IME!

Glad to hear it! Really great stuff

It comes with Pinnacle MF Restore.A lot of laundry detergentds come with measuring cups or so Im told by Mrs. Old Tiger. I only wash my MF's so I am no expert.

The Pro Blend works superbly for dispensing PMFR! No spills!

Good to know! Thanks.
I know that the PBBP does NOT work with any of my gallons of shampoo..a bit disappointing, but I used it for my APC+ :xyxthumbs:

I always use 1 oz per gallon and measure with an old baby bottle. The 1 oz per gallon ratio seems to work the best for and this soap and my tap water which is not the best(nor the worst by far) but at this ratio it keeps it slick and sudsy.

Good to know! Thanks.

I didnt find the gallon Pro Blend near as useful as the quart size. I buy by the gallon and use quart Home Depot spray bottles @ $1.00 and the Pro Blend to dispense. I got 8 on the last BOGO they were on.

Yea usually the pressure of a gallon of fluid is too much for the Pro Blend, it just keeps coming out! (So I've seen on my APC+) but I may have to try your idea!

Trust me you will find it to be much better. I had two gallon Pro Blends that I gave to a buddy for use with garden products. I have quarts with Optimum Car Wash, DP Xstreme Foam and CG Citrus Wash. You must dilute at least 1 to 1, I like 2 to 1 better. All flow easy at 2 to 1. I have ONR and DPRW at full strength and have no issues. I will do same for Ultima now that I have tried it.

I would like to see someone from AG chime in about how much Bodywork shampoo should really be used.

I used the 1/2oz it say on the bottle and couldn't believe the suds it made. Even at that little bit there was plenty of lubricity but I would still like to know why the site says one thing and the bottle says another.

If it really is 1/2oz then I may be switching up from the DP as I'll use a ton less soap and a few bucks.

ive been useing bodywork shampoo for 3 years . i have the gallon container with the pump atached. 1 pump is 1 ounce . i put 3 pumps per 5 gallon bucket filled half way with water. works great . this is the safest shampoo u can even use 4 ounces and it would be fine. my wax holds up quiet well. i used it today in fact.
