Durability update:
I saw Dwaynes update and thought I should post since I am getting different results. I was looking at the test vehicle this morning and didn't notice any change in looks from 2 weeks ago. I have driven this car to work almost every day except maybe one or two. That's about 20 miles each way. Also it's seen a few thunderstorms.

Both types of wax on your test car must be failing at the same rate because there is no way I'm wrong :D

I'm currently at one week after application with no wash or rain exposure, paint is just as slick. Sorry Dwayne. We are expecting rain over the next few days and I'm actually looking forward to it for test purposes. I will be doing my review possibly next week.

I think you forgot to shake the bottle. :poke:

Liquid Natty’s Blue (Cleaners??)

Here is a quote directly from Pockets that clears up a question some were asking.

"Hey Corey,

LNB is not a cleaner wax. The solvents that make the product liquid can clean a little with the right application, such as a polishing pad or hard rubbing. it is meant to be used with a finishing pad at low speed or by hand just spreading it out. it will never remove swirls or scratches and can not strip a car of all it's wax or sealant."

Thanks for the info Pockets :dblthumb2:

Update Week 3: (Some new observations)

Washed 2 of the cars today. One was the Natty's Liquid Blue Test Vehicle. I see what Dwayne was talking about but I don't think it's the durability fading. I think its more a matter of it's sheeting vs. beading properties. As you saw in my morning dew pics the liquid side does look darker in those shots no doubt but the beads are identical size.
Today after washing (during rinsing) I took a couple videos of a substatial difference between the paste and liquid sides. It looks like the liquid side sheets slowly when I spray water at the paint. But when it rains the beads are identical. Please see the video and pics below. Thoughts?

Corey from what I noticed is that after 3 weeks of extreme heat here in South Florida and 2 of those weeks it rained alot the wax needed to be reapplied. The car wasn't completed striped of the wax but it wasn't 100% slick either. Also water would sheet very very slowly (but still bead in rain) But we all know beading doesn't always mean it is protected

Week 5 Update:
Still beading like a champ.

FYI, Chris from poorboys told me LNB will looks best on non-metallic paint(any color) as it gives a deep, warm, wet look. With metallic paint, you want more of a bright, reflective look. :)

hmmmmmm I don't know why he would say that ... my Sequoia with metal flake was the first test vehicle and the flakes just popped out of the paint ...
Liquid Natty's Blue is for all colors :dblthumb2:

Well, there has been some discussion as to whether Liquid Natty's Blue is more like the red paste or the blue paste so I messenged Pockets with this question and as always he was very helpfull! Here is what I asked and his answer below.

Me:
"Pockets, there is some discussion and curiosity on whether Liquid Natty's Blue functions more like the Red paste or the Blue paste. I haven't tried the red yet myself but others are saying LNB is closer to red paste. Is liquid natty blue more like natty red or blue?

Pockets:
"Hey Corey,

I would say it has some of the characteristics of both Red and Blue .. because it is so thin it gives a little more clarity than the blue paste."

Btw:If anybody can remember the other thread we were discussing this on let me know or post it over there as well.

Bogo bump for an excellent product that doesn't get enough press.

I love having this on hand for those cases when something needs waxed that's stuck in the sun and you don't have enough time to move the car and let the tail cool down.

Looks like I never posted my final durability testing but if I recall it was about 2 months +

I used to be a big fan of using this stuff on my customer's cars but the durability wasn't doing it for me. I do agree with you about using it in the sun as long as it isn't a very dark colored car.

Ya, durability isn't great but I didn't think it was too bad compared to most waxes. I see about 2 months on outside 24/7 vehicle in Florida.

What durability did you get?

Also, why not on dark cars? What issue did you have?

Thanks for the info in advance!

I'm willing to try again, my first few times were not great. Think I'll order a fresh sample.
