What do you use to *clean* interior panels?

It also matters whether one is a professional, and thus detailing many vehicles, or just an enthusiast, exclusively detailing one's personal vehicles. I use 1Z Cockpit Premium as my primary interior cleaner. I use it on just about everything, including the clear plastic that covers the instrument gauges. The big jug that I bought will last me a very long time. I consider it money well spent.

If your gonna take an Avatar pic "in the sticks" you gotta go high in the mountains to a private lake... like me

Uh I always thought that was a picture of a dirty car??? It is dirty in that picture isn't it?

Tad, did you flush the eyes again? Are they better?

Yes I did, and they are much better now:dblthumb2:Whew, that definitely sucked for awhile though. I had safety glasses on but some of the mist drifted behind them. I'll definitely use saftey GOGGLES next time..

Sorry, to threadjack OP...

Mark, Don't you have the 1Z plastic cleaner? Have you tried it?
Yes, I do. It's the "deep" plastic cleaner and it's very good stuff! Might be a bit of overkill for my application. However, I do detail cars here and there, so I use it then.

Thank goodness! Man, I was worried. After we talked I was thinking about it and I did the same thing with Griots wheel cleaner. Not sure if it got into me actual eye balls as I sprayed the hose into my eye within seconds to get it out. I've been wearing the goggles ever since when I fo wheels.

Mark, my apologies for multiple thread jackings! I won't make a habit of it in a future.

Does the 1z deep cleaner work easily on ground in dirt on textured vinyl? Is there any dwell time or just spray, brush, wipe?

Ask anything you want anytime you want! :props:

I think 1Z deep cleaner works very well on ground in dirt on textured vinyl. I rally don't let it dwell, just spray, scrub brush, wipe. I wouldn't use this stuff on coated leather, though. It's pretty strong.

Ive been using Meg's Interior QD

I love it. I wish I could buy it in bulk

APC diluted 10:1, woolite & water 8:1 or I steam.

lmao me too ...looks dusty

Simple Green at 10:1. Seems to work well without damaging the interior vinyl and plastic.

But the smell?:bolt:
I'm using the DP with great results but I'm not doing it every day either.

That's why I always apply a dressing after using SG to clean. When I want to quickly remove a little dust that's when I reach for Megs QID.

I like 303 Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner. It also works well on coated leather. OPP is great for mild cleaning and leaves a very maatte finish.
