I havent been on here lately but i did this SS a few weeks ago. The car had 4k miles on it. It had lots of scratches from the dealer of course. The owner told me he wanted that "wet look".
I was on a super strict time restraint, so i didnt have much time for before shots but the whole car looked like the couple i did take. Some areas required a little color sanding due to RIDS.
Start to finish took 6 hours.
Appreciate any comments, good or bad.

Process-

Wash-

Foam cannon with local brand car wash, citrus wash.
Double bucket with grit guard with the white schmitt.

Tires/wells degreased with enviro clean.
Wheels cleaned with P21S gel wheel cleaner with EZ detail brush.

Clayed with blue clay magic then rewashed, same as above.

Correction-
Stripes, badges, and trim were all tapped off with 3M Green tap
First time using the M105/205 Combo.
Used local dealer pads. Light cutting and polishing pads.
Flex
Checked my work with 3M sun gun

LSP-
Wolfgang DGPS
Souveran X2

How in the world did you do all of that in 6 hours?!?!

Looks good. :dblthumb2:

WOW, that came out great and I'm surprised that a new car would need that much work. Absolutely stunning!! :props:

Thank you! New cars seemed to get prettty trashed these days at the dealers. I cant believe how many cars i get that are brand new and need correction. The owner was very happy with the outcome.

Looks great but I have to agree, that's a lot of work for 6 hours... especially since you washed the car twice, and did some color sanding...

Flex

Which Flex did you use?

Nice work. We have a black SS Camaro coming to the Studio tonight...

:)

Very nice work, in shockingly little time!

Am I the only one that thinks it's ironic that a guy with the name "MoparAddict" is posting detail pics of a Chevy?

I have to agree with the others...amazing work in only 6 hours. I assume the LSPs were applied without cure times.....that would be my only issue. Great look!

Well if he wanted a wet look I would say you delivered. Nice job!
