Do you use a QD/spray wax

chemical guys QD is the same as adam's but much cheaper. All of adam's stuff is chemical guys just re-labled
y a iknow ive heard this. but ibuy it from a local distributer near me and he takes car of me . so it works out.. plus no shipping..just a 15min drive...

Optimum Gloss Enhancer is actually, IMHO, superior to FK425 ........ have both, but experience less streaking/shadows with the Optimum.

That is so strange. I find the complete opposite true. I couldn't make 425 streak if I tried.

It only streaks for me if my MF towel gets to wet. or if the surface is hot.

I've used it before and liked it but it really irratated my contact lenses!

+1 (I use a QD sometimes Spray wax) I wouldn't dry without it if I can help it

Lately:
FK-425 or
Souveran Spray wax

Also use sometimes:
Optimum Car wax
Optimum Instant Detailer
DG Aquawax
Ultima Detail Spray
Pinnacle Crystal Mist
Corey listed most of my favorites. Four Star Spray Wax is tops on my list. Ive been playing with Polycharger H2O LATELY ANd am blown away with bboosted DG AW. WG Spray Sealant is superb too. I use QD or SW unless I do an ONR wash and dont find it necessary, but it doesnt ever hurt!

As someone else noted below your post ... heat would be the reason for streaking. I don't always have the shade needed to work out of direct sunlight. In this instance the Optimum works much better & doesn't streak, ever.

In order of preference ....

Dodo Juice - Red Mist
Optimum - Instant Gloss Enhancer
FK425

I like using rinseless wash detailers (like Poorboys, DP) since I usually do not want any added gloss, etc.

Not trying to give you a hard time, but again the opposite.

LOL .......... no worries man. It's taken me more than 16 years of detailing to know what works for me. :xyxthumbs:

Believe it or not, the type of QD & its performance has a lot to do with what type of protection is currently on the surface.

I agree, but your still a baby. LOL

+1 for FK 425. I use the sheeting/flooding method, then the leaf blower, then FK 425 with Green Guzzler panel by panel (top half of the car, then bottom half). Before I found the FK 425 and Green "Supreme Guzzler" combo, I despised drying my car.
