Since Meghan was kind enough to drop this in the box of my last order I feel I had better do a review.

Wolfgang Fuzion Estate Car Wax

Products used

Pinnacle’s Ultra Poly Clay
PINNACLE CLAY LUBRICANT
Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion
Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo Car Wash
Cobra Blue Micro-Chenille Wash Mitt
The Ultimate Guzzler Waffle Weave Microfiber Drying Towel
Cobra Indigo Microfiber Polishing Cloth
Pinnacle Foam Wax Applicator
Wolfgang Fuzion Estate Car Wax
Amazing Roll-Off Spray
Pinnacle Safe Scrub Bug & Tar Pad

I started out giving the car a good two bucket wash using the Bodywork Shampoo and Cobra wash mitt. Since I drove the car the night before I had to break out the Amazing Roll Off and the Safe Scrub Bug pad (these things are amazing). I finished off the wash with a good flood rinse and dried it all off with my trusty Ultimate Guzzler.

Next up I broke out the Poly clay and the Pinnacle Clay Lube. I followed that up with the Paintwork Cleansing Lotion. The paint was already in excellent condition so no polishing was needed.

Now on to the Fuzion. I have been wanting to try out the Wolfgang Fuzion for a long time now but just couldn't pull the trigger only because of the cost. The smell OMG the smell is fantastic. It goes on super easy and takes very little product. Removal seemed to be a tad bit harder but only because its a wipe on wipe off product. No big deal though since all I had to do is break out another Indigo Polishing Cloth. Te final results were nothing but stunning. It darkened up the paint just a bit from the Souveran Paste wax I had on it and the metal flakes really started to shine. All in all I am pretty impressed with the Fuzion and will not hesitate to spend the money on it when this jar runs out.

Again a BIG thanks to Meghan for giving me the opportunity to use such a great wax.

I'm not the best photographer but here are a few pictures of the finished product.

The Fuzion is what was dropped in the box, I already owned all the other products.

The Wolfgang Fuzion Estate Wax is awesome. The Metallic Flake really pops on this Chevy.

Thanks for the review... I was debating whether it's worth trying or not. You did mention though that you thought Fuzion actually makes your dark paint appear "darker" than Souveran Paste???? Really? I thought nothing could beat Souveran...

It darkened the paint more than Souveran? Wow...

EDIT: I read sportscarhiatus post *after* I just posted my question...lol...we're thinking along the same lines.

When "darkening" the paint with any wax or sealant, you would think that might mute the flakes.

I think it goes the other way around. Making the paint darker seems to make the shiny silver flakes stick out a bit more.

We also need to take into account that the Souveran was a couple weeks old when I was comparing. I would have to do a fresh side by side to determine if there is really a difference.

I did notice when washing the car that the Fuzion doesn't sheet water as well as the Souveran does. Not saying that's a bad thing, it's just something I noticed.

I wish I would have taken a picture, but I did a test spot of Fuzion 2 hours ago on a co-workers Concorde. It is that deep red metallic color. As soon as I wiped it off he said it looked dripping wet. You could literally see a huge difference where I applied the Fuzion and the metallic came to life with the sun hitting it.

Also, since it was a little warm out I brought my Fuzion inside and stored it in my desk. Well I was getting a little anxious with it just sitting there so I dusted off my Viper and my co-workers' CTS-V HotWheels and applied a quick coat! My task lead said I was sick...

you could spend alot more and not see the benefits and ease of use from Fuzion.

Sounds like another "You might be an AG if...." response ;)

You make it sound like Fuzion is cheap :D hehe...

The car looks great, love the color. Fuzion really is a great wax.
