any of these products ok to get on the screen of a navi system or on the gauges or inside glass on the doors without making a mess?
I just went out and tried my Finish Kare Top Coat that I received with this mornings delivery. I like it! Applied with a MF, it spreads well and is no where near greasy. Darkens the dash without leaving a film or visible residue. It's not glossy, which I like. It claims to cut down on the attraction of dust, which I can't comment on yet, I have high hopes though!
We have a winnah!
Finish Kare's Top Kote is by far the best stuff I have used on my dash. While it *does* darken the dash, it does not appear greasy and does not leave a film. It also performs as advertised with respect to dust attraction. I.e., I get much less dust on the dash of my vehicles than with other products I have used.
Excellent product! :xyxthumbs:
I didn't see it on Autogeeks.com. Where can I find this bad boy?
+1 for 1Z Cockpit Premium. It's a bit pricey, though. Megs' Quik Interior Detailer is a sensible alternative and available at local stores at a good price. If my dash needs a deeper cleaning, I then turn to Megs' M40. It leaves a deep satin look on my black dash. 303 leaves a tad more sheen, which is why I don't use it on my dash. I like the low gloss look.
If the dash isn't in too bad of shape I really like Megs Ultimate Quick Detailer. It doesn't change the color, isn't greasy at all and smells wonderful.
I am looking for a new product to detail my dash that doesn't leave a greasy film, provides protection, and has low if any sheen. What's your favorite product, I'm looking for some suggestions for my next order.
Feed back please
Thanks,
David
Are you blind???Finish Kare Top Kote Anti-Static Protectant
Oh and its autogeek.net not autogeeks.com![]()
Now where did I put those glasses?
I didn't look for it as a tire dressing when I pulled the Finish Kare products on AG.
I assume that you like it too?
Thanks for the link!
Kurt
Never tried it as I'm pretty happy with Megs QID.
I have the Megs QID as well, and there is no comparison between the two.
I think of them as two completely different products. The QID is more for weekly interior cleaning, while the Top Kote is more like applying a sealant to the cars paint, which is not needed nearly as often. In other words, you wouldn't use the Top Kote to simply clean the interior every week, as you would with QID.

I get what you're saying but the QID does add protection too.
