Corolla619 - Scammer

Ok ladies and gentlemen, looks like we have another scammer amongst us. This dates back over a month ago when Corolla619 - Derek W. contacted me about trading a bottle of liquid Souveran that I received from him for a nearly full 32oz. bottle of Menzerna Power Lock. I agree like an idiot, package up the liquid Souveran very carefully and quickly ship it off to him. Well a few days pass and I haven't received my product so I contact him. His excuse "The funny thing is the post office returned the box due to something leaking". So I at this point I request a 24oz. bottle of Power Lock, 2 samples of Wolfgang Spritz Sealant, and a sample bottle of liquid Souveran. A few days pass and he contacts me to confirm before placing his order, so I say let's make it easy and just send the 24oz. bottle of Power Lock and a can of Collinite 476.

As you would guess by now a couple weeks pass with still no product in my hands. I contact him and he states the shipping labels were screwed up and that he would take care of it. Well as of today I haven't heard anything so I contacted one of the victims and he states that he has a nearly full bottle of Power Lock and a Wolfgang Spritz sealant sample and hasn't received payment to ship the product to the rightful owner. Nearly full? After specifically stating I wanted a new bottle for all the trouble you have caused me? I had 2 cars that were supposed to receive Power Lock and guess what Derek? I couldn't do it because I DIDN"T HAVE THE BOTTLE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO SEND ME. So because of you screwing me over and me giving you the benefit of the doubt, I had to explain the use of another product. I also received word that the nearly full bottle does not smell like Power Lock and is a thinner product. So what are you giving me Derek? Something to screw up paint?

So if I were any of you considering trading samples, trading products, or even purchasing anything from this guy, I would look elsewhere. Our PM trail will soon follow along with the pm's between me and the person that has my tainted products.

On another note I am sad to see such a nice person as Richard getting screwed over by a fellow forum member. Richard is nothing but a very nice easy going guy and does not deserve to be jerked around like this. Just remember karma is a bitchh Richard and what comes around goes around buddy. :dblthumb2:

weirdest thing ever, so we get home yesterday from running around and on my doorstep is a package. i pick it up and low and behold it's your powerlock. it says return to sender? so i'm wondering why. that is until i set the package on the counter andc it's leaking. so i open it up(keep in mind it's bubble wrapped and full of peanuts.)and it had a huge hole in the side of the powerlock. i further inspect and it appears to look like it was cut with a box knife of some sort. over 3/4 leaked out. at this time i'm pretty upset. won't be able to contact the post office until tomorrow but rest assured i will raise hell. worst case scenario is i'll have to order you some since that was every bit i had. i feel pretty terrible but you and i have transacted before so rest assured i'll work it all out. i'll inform you tomorrow in regards to what happens with the post office. i'm sorry.

Actually now that you mention it, just get 24oz power lock and a can of collinite 476. but don't forget bogo's are this friday so if you want to wait...just saying!

Hey man, you owe me big time. The trade was for a bottle of Power Lock Sealant and a can of Collinite 476, not a $10 bottle of wheel cleaner. I am very pissed right now and will go public about this.

just a heads up,if this is your powerlock,i compared to the one I already had and it seems real thin and smells a little off. There was def no coll in the box. If you want, send a cell# and send a pic of the wrapped products as I received them

:iagree: I too traded samples with Corolla619-Derek W. a couple of months ago and was left with a bad taste in my mouth. On his end of the trade; I was suppose to recieve 4 sample pots of new (NEVER USED) Dodo waxes. Well (1)- I opened the box and discovered only 3 of the 4 promised sample pots. After several pm's and many excuses I did finally recieve the 4th promised pot. However it had obviously been dipped into and was not as promised. I decided then that I would never trade any samples w/ him again. I'm now sorry that I didn't pass this info on to others then. Sorry for your misery Richard. As AR has stated though Karma is definitely a bitchh and everyone of us has to face ourselves in the mirror every morning...
