2006 Vette Finally showed up

My experience is great with both... I "think" I notice a longer buffing cycle with the M105 but it could be in my head... I would have to do some side by side testing with some controls to know for sure..

:)

I'm apparently just not doing something right with UC then. :(

Make sure you're using an ample amount... not too little, not too much...

Here's an article I wrote for working in warm temperatures or direct sunlight but the same techniques work anytime you're dealing with a product that's difficult to work with.

Tips for working in warm/hot weather or direct sunlight

One thing that can make working with any compound or polish more difficult is not cleaning your pad often...

If fact if you're working with a product and you're finding the buffing cycle to be very short one of the first things you want to do is start cleaning your pad after every section pass.

Work clean.

I think the amount of product is where I may still be most confused. At times I feel like I'm using too much..but I don't know why.

I clean my pad pretty often...maybe not quite often enough, though. Certtainly not after ever section pass. I may go 2 or 3 section passes before I clean. Is that not enough? :dunno:

Stroke the surface of the pad a few times with a pad conditioning brush after each section pass. Only takes 5 seconds. :) That should help.

Hmm..don't have one of those. It's on the list now.

So when using the surbuf pads..not sure if you saw my post above after you mentioned it...got any tips for use?
