Detailed: 2006 Spyker C8 Spyder

I love any detail job where the detailer is as crazy about poilising and waxing unseen, wheel wells and under suspension covers as I am.

Absolutely, fantastic job:dblthumb2:

Thank you!

This car has the coolest shifter and pedals EVER.
The pedals are machined out from a solid piece of aluminum. and the shifter, well, just look at it!

It looks amazing. My favorite pic is #85 - or the first pic after the number 85.

Fantastic work - a perfect display of true detailing.

I think these are my favorite cars of all time. The detail put into the building of these is amazing. You did a wonderful job on it.

Thats good stuff man!! Very Impressive - the prep work alone shows that you put quality effort into your work! :dblthumb2:

What did you charge this customer!? I would have said $500 without blinking, ha. Excellent work man.:wow:

I wanted to ask the same question, but I was sccuurrd.. lol

I'm really curious. Cause it's not like you see a vehicle that needs that much attention every day. I can't imagine it would have been anything less than $500. If it is less...then he just really wanted some good pictures, haha. I can understand that...cause these pics are awesome.

If I had this car brought to me...I probably would have said around $350 just to make sure he comes in. Cause for me, I've never done one of these. I would take pics just like this guy, and when another one rolled in because of the pics...it would easily be $500-$600. :dblthumb2:

:iagree:

Belive it or not it's an investment to do the right car for almost free just to get your name buzzzing out there.

Increbible job! :props: Not a fan of the car itself but the color is beautiful.

FREE?? That's insanity! lol

I knw sounds crazy but true, there's been numerous times when the slow season comes around, friends or family or friends of the family, will come around and ask about the detailing business, and I'll tell them to cover material cost and I'll hook up their vehicle. After that the phone starts to ring, and BAM! People like my work and business starts to flow again.

The only people that get a free job at Northeast Detailing are my mom, my girlfriend, and me...that's it. I got some buddies that will come through and do their own vehicle. But I don't touch it, ha.

But yes, that is a good strategy if you're starting out and need a way to grab some customers. I actually do something that is similar to that...but not quite free.

I run radio ads for half off gift certificates to the business. They're $100 certificates, but the customer only pays $50. That $50 goes towards my advertising. Then, the customer comes in, and usually ends up paying another $50-$100 on a package at least. it's great cause it gets new faces in here, and they come back the next year...but with no gift certificate :xyxthumbs:

ppl with this kinds of cars have other daily drivers, and think of ppl they interact with, like Garry Fong said, you need raving customer who will start selling your product if you do outstanding job for him
