Blind Samples

 OMG you really put it on paint...

OK J/K :)

You pretty much got the same results that I did.

Its a product made by Jax Wax (google it) called Body Shine Showroom Spray Wax. I picked it up at a Super Chevy Show last year from a vendor selling all of the Jax Wax products. They were calling it an QD at the show but I'm going by what the bottle says and it clearly says Showroom Spray Wax. I really didn't have any streaking problems either and one of the main reasons I even tried it was because they were using it on a black hood in the sun without streaking. I have seen this stuff around some of the bigger car shows in Ohio and Michigan. I think they are based out of Columbus Ohio.

The lack of streaking was definetly noticeable to me. The product was removed as easy as can be imagined.

Btw: Very cool idea you've got going here Dubbin :xyxthumbs:

Ok, I just got home to find a blind sample sent to me from DwayneIm the MAN... When I first opened, looked at, and smelled it I thought for sure it had to be WG DGPS. But a quick PM to Dwayne and my theory was quickly shot down.
WOW, I'm surprised. I think it looks and smells just like WGDGPS. Dwayne informed me that it's a liquid wax. I don't have any liquid waxes, other than some of the liquid nattys blue (beta version) Corey sent me, and colli 845, it's neither of those. I'm mainly a sealant or nuba kinda guy. This is going to be fun. However I won't get a chance to get to it until next weekend. I'm going out of town tomorrow and won't return home until Monday...I will report back after I get a chance to try it out NEXT weekend...:props:

Ok, I finally got the chance to work with the blind sample sent to me from Dwayne. Sample was labeled "liquid wax". Test victim was my sons 1982 Datsun 210 polished earlier this spring to almost perfection (for 28 year old paint). We washed vehicle and cleansed paint on 1/2 the hood and right front panel with Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion (vehicle currently wearing 2 coats of Colli 845). We then applied the wax to these portions of the paint by hand w/ yellow foam applicator. Let wax haze, and buffed off. I have to say the only liquid wax that I've used prior to this is Colli 845 (I'm more a sealant or paste guy). But WOW, this stuff seems great. Went on VERY easy, buffed off VERY easy, did NOT stain trim, and looks great. I deliberately applied wax overly thick, and to some trim...NO PROBLEM...Came right off...
It looked like WGDGPS both in color and texture, even smelled like it IMO.

Okay Dwayne, can't wait to hear what it is?
Not that I've ever tried it, but based on everything that I've heard...Is it liquid Souveran??? PS: Have I mentioned how fun this is? Im the MAN

Wow oh wow! I would have NEVER guessed. Thought it had to be something higher end :props:. Got me!

This is why I really like the idea of this sample test.

Ok, so it's been a while because I have been pretty busy lately with work and details but this Friday a package will be going out to Tad, Corey, Dwayne, and Mark. :dblthumb2: I will drop a hint now, nothing Duragloss.

I've had some time to think about this and as much as I hated to do so, I ruled out Duragloss products!

That's very cool. It will be interesting to see how often this happens.

Did you ever get any takers on these samples?

nope no takers

Come on guys someone snag this stuff up and give us some honest takes on it.

I would but I just don't have a vehicle here at the moment that I could use a compound or finishing polish on, and my vehicles don't have enough moldings or plastic bumpers to give that product a fair review either.

i just thought of something. the samples i got ready to ship are not AG products so i wont be able to post what the products are.
