Blind Samples

I know Corey sends you better stuff Tad, so I thought I would send something a little different. Wasn't sure if you have tried the new low profile HT pads? Those things have to be the best pads for a DA!

Richard, from the looks of that picture I think your package is more impressive then mine was. :xyxthumbs:

Corey & Mark - I'm sorry for the delay guys but my wife still hasn't mailed out your packages. She promised they would go out tomorrow.

Don't worry about me Richard! The longer you wait the better! :props:

Maybe it is maybe it isn't :p I won't reply to anymore guessing :D

Well, *if* it is Wolfgang, I am slowly but surely becoming a big fan of their products. It would also explain why this worked so well with Fuzion! ;)

OMG Rob no its not WG, I'm too poor for that.

:D

Ok, I give up...I will just wait for the other participant to post.

Actually, I might place an order with AG before the current 15% off plus free shipping expires, so I hope to find out what it is before that sale expires. :xyxthumbs:

Rob,

What color is the QD?

LOL!!!

I'm not inferring I want a sample(I'm set on Z6 QD that I use with Zaino Z2 sealant). I'm just curious to know what QD Rob is so pleased with!!!

So it appears you have found your happy place. What do you think of the Zaino stuff?

Well, I had read so much about Z2 looking amazing on silver, I decided to give it a shot. First, when I mixed ZFX flash cure accelerator with Z2(great for light metallics), it significantly sped up the drying and curing time(30 mintues total), and I could immediately apply another coat. I was able to do 3 coats(all fully cured) in a few hours. That's pretty awesome, IMO. As far as looks, Z2 gave a very bright, reflective look, yet glossy at some angles. Just what I was looking for. Zaino has a stellar reputation of being very durable, but I'll have to see how it goes for me. I really like Z6 as a QD because it works in cohesion with Zaino sealants. Although, it's a bit pricey, I like using products that are meant to work together. I also really like Z7 shampoo. Very slick, and it has several polymer ingredients from Zaino sealants. :dblthumb2:

FWIW, I tried Werkstat Acyrlic Jett(non-trigger formula) as well. It's supposed to look amazing on silver as well. While it looked good, it was a PITA to work with for me. :nomore:

I received Chris's (toxygene) package in the mail today. Not only did he send 2 samples to test out but he also tossed in a sample of Ultima WW+ :dblthumb2: Thanks a ton for that Chris!!!

I love the custom labels :props:

Again I am stumped and have no clue what these 2 samples are.

Deeee, Im quite sure you won't like the Ultima WW+, so you can send it to me and I will properly dispose of it along with UWW+ Corey sent me. (I hate to brag, but once again my package is bigger than yours):D

Hey it may take a whole elk hide to make your thong but I'm perfectly happy with my small package. No need to rub it in :p

Your elk skin thong is being made as we speak. I would have to say it is very impressive as well:props:

I've been meaning to comment on your avatar every since you changed it, but it kept slipping my mind. Have I mentioned how phenomenal your paint looks, absolutely stunning:dblthumb2:

Oh man I can't wait for the new thong, mine is starting to wear out.

Thanks for the complements on the paint, I do my best to keep it looking nice.

Just got back from testing out the new samples I received from Chris today.

The Spray Sealant is orange in color and has a strange scent. Its not a bad scent, I just cant quite figure out what it is.

I started by cleaning off the wax I put on the trunk lid from the last test. Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion and some IPA took care of that job.
I then proceeded to mist the panel with the new spray sealant and wipe off with a clean MF towel. I must say this stuff was very easy to use. It didn't smear or streak and left a nice shiny finish like most sealants.

I can't say I would buy it without knowing the durability but it did impress me with the ease of use.

Now on to the Quick Detailer

Green in color and again I can't figure out what the scent is but is smells like something that would taste good :)
We have had some pretty nasty high winds here the last couple days (41mph now) and by leaving my garage door open the Maliblue (that's its name now :) ) got pretty dusty. This is one of the easiest QD I have ever used. No streaking, no smearing and no marring left in the finish. This is something I would consider buying.

Again thanks for the samples Chris, it was fun trying them :dblthumb2:

So am I supposed to tell you what they are at this point? :awesome:

LOL it would be nice :)

The "Quick Detailer" is Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz (the non sealant version). This is the first QD I ever bought, and I liked it so much I ordered a large bottle of it. I read about QDs streaking in general on these forums but never ran into this problem with the Wolfgang, even in the hot sun this summer. It is a great product but might not have the same level of gloss as other QDs.

The "Spray Sealant" is Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray. Just like BFWD it is Polycharged and very easy to use. It is formulated to be used with BFWD actually, so I am not sure how its durability is by itself. I use it as a QD after washing with ONR. This one I have experienced some streaking with, though, but it seems easy enough to buff off.

And I hope you enjoy the Ultima WW+. I saw you said you couldn't get it because it was backordered. That is only 2 oz. but consider that it will make four 22 oz. bottles of waterless wash. I would not bother wasting it as a rinseless wash. ONR is much more sensible cost wise. :dblthumb2:
