Not trying to hijack the thread but where do you guys get your bottles for samples ? I have been passing out samples of ONR to friends and the 2 oz. clear airline bottles are $1.00 ea. Any other ideas ?

Google TAP Plastics, Inc.

I just started making some samples..I was using the 5hr energy left over bottles.

Who's up for some more blind samples?

I would be game to try my hand at some and provide a side by side or detailed report. I've got a porter cable and the basic pads and was just about to do a detail job on my car anyway. :)

Online... I get them all from Amazon. Right now they don't have the ones with the flip top but they do have the ones with the spray heads. I get like 6 or 12 of them for a few bucks.

It's been (5) day's for this thread to be updated. So i'm adding one today to bump this to the top;)

Dubbin1 sent me a couple samples to try out.The 1st sample I was able to apply tonight. This was the Tire Gel.
I used a tire brush to apply the product on the tire's, that were previously cleaned with ONR.

It applied very easy and the shine it left was very nice.I'm going to wait until the morning and apply a second coat for durability.

Here is how much was needed to apply the product to (4) tires:

Prior to this application I had Four-star UTPS that was similar in appearance but was a spray. The durability with that product was around (2-1/2) weeks before I noticed the shine and beading were fading (almost gone).

I would purchase this product next time I needed a tire dressing depending on the durability outcome.
The question,what is the product?

Ahh,it's nice stuff indeed.:props:

What kind of normal durability do you normally get form this product?

Its hard to say for me since I don't drive the car much at all. The only time I need to replace it is if I washed the car and scrubbed the tires. I'm sure Corey can step in and give some info on the durability.

Thanks D! I'm going to say 2-8 weeks. I know thats a big window but it really does depend a lot on how well you clean the tire before applying, rain, the exact tire type, whether it sits outside and gets dew every morning, and most important what you consider to be durability.

If outside getting rain every now and then I would say about a month but it won't look like it did when you applied it after 4 weeks. I'd say under these conditions you get 2 good weeks. After 5 weeks and over a thousand miles there was still dressing on my 24/7 ouside vehicle but it certainly wasn't pretty anymore.

On my Sky which is in the "best of conditions" scenario (always inside at night, never in rain, low mileage usually) I applied the DP to the tires about a month ago and they still look great.

I love how the DP dries to the touch. You touch the tire after allowing it to dry and your finger actually comes away clean and without residue.

Ok,this is the second blind sample Dubbin1 sent me (Thank You again Dwayne).
It was labled "QD".
I used the product on my summer toy (Black 2001' TA WS6) that needed a little touch up on the hood and quarter fenders.

After:

The product applied nice an dryed almost instantly. It touched up well and had a nice scent to it.
IDK if I would purchase this product because I have ONR,DP WAWC, and Ultima UWWP,that have been working very well.
My current inventory is pretty full of other QD's and would have a hard time using up because of the waterless/rinseless products, that i've been using and am also a big big fan of.
I'll have plenty of QD for touch-up's for a long time, thou this product that Dubbin1 sent me did work well.

Can you tell us,what was the product Dwayne?

Its ONR mixed to a QD ;)

LOL,I thought it smelled VERY familiar.Looks like I don't have to buy any because I have plenty of ONR.It did work well and left no streaking on my black car.
Being in the yellow container, the color was unknown when misted on the surface of black.

Good to know,Thanks.
