Great turn around Dave. It is funny how so many go around saying they can "detail" when they are really wash and waxers. The words professional and detailer are so loosely used in this profession it isn't even funny. People that truly hack up a vehicle should be outed so potential customers and those on the forums that are trying to learn know to stay away from said person"s advice or co called detailing skills. Once again great turn around Dave, and keep up the great work in S.FL.

Whats wrong with wash and waxers?

It is still considered some form of detailing.

Your thoughts on the matter certainly do not set make it set in stone.

Either David or Advanced?
Well, either Advanced(Juan) is lying, or he's telling the truth? David, may firmly believe this hack job was done by Juan, but it might not have been. I have no clue, so I'm staying neutral. Just stating what I think. I'm not sure we'll ever know the truth, unless it can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Nothing but don't call yourself a detailer when you are not. if you can only wash and wax cars then that is what you are, you are not a detailer. A detailer is all about the details and wash and waxing is not. Whether or not my thoughts are set in stone, the true detailers agree so I guess we would put you in the wash and waxer section since you you had to take that jab with your last sentence so just stop while you are ahead.:nomore:

:iagree: That's why I get aggrevated with people around me when they attempt to compare me to the $75-$99 "Full Detail" guys. I called one of the shops because they offered a "Quick Exterior Detail" which consisted of a wash, high speed buff, and wax for $70. I also asked how long they needed my car, their response "1 - 1 1/2 hours".

I am sure I do not need to state why I am closing this thread. But just in case, if you could all please remember why we are here on this forum. We are here as a detailing community to support one another not bash. If you have a personal issue we do provide the service of private messages.
