Review: Wolfgang Füzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax

Its very good wax . I might order another tub.

Boy o boy, all this guy did was to review two waxes and give his opinon as to the results. In the end, if they cost the same, it would make no difference which one you chose, in his opinon, because the results are the same. In the opinon of many people, paying more for for the same result does not make much since.

That being said,it is up the person buying the product to make up their own minds.

The suckers actually liked Barnums shows.

I know, isn't it funny how it blew up to 7 pages so far?

It's a great review and has brought up a lot of good conversation points.

Andrew seems to not be commenting, funny!!! And where are those pics of the finished car? Or are you still stuck working on that third cylinder?

Well, I wasn't arguing at all, just stating a point, but you spend the entire first half of your post saying "it is impossible to tell the difference between waxes" only to follow with, "there are subtle differences you do see between some waxes".

You are right, I don't understand what you are saying, because you seem to be saying different things.

Having said that, admitedly, I do not have a very good eye for such things, but I think the only product I've ever seen look different than anything else is Zaino. I could be wrong, but to me it was the only thing that looked like it had a bit more shine.

Other than that, whether it was Collinite 845, NXT 2.0, Fuzion, Souveran, P21's, WG DGPS, they all look the same to me.

You should read it again so that you don't misquote people. I said it is ALMOST impossible to tell the difference between waxes. And of course as you know I meant the difference in "the looks".

It is impossible to tell the difference between some waxes. There are differences in others. That is a FACT.

I've had this wax in my garage for a few years and forgot how it was so i tried it again and was very pleased with it . I didn't run out and order it because of this thread . Boy o boy

Today I am doing the whole car. i stripped everything off. starting with megs 105, 205 #7 and then fuzion. I will post the pictures that i have later on tonight.

I honestly have no idea why i put #7 on and then Klasse HGS. Guess i just went crazy with the products.

I have a few other cars i am going to test this on. I will be updating the thread with my findings as they progress.

Hey Andrew,

This has been an interesting thread to follow. Did the two waxes perform (and/or look) differently without the Klasse HGS and #7 underneath?

 I think he unsubscribed! LOL

I believe the best aspect of this wax is the anti static property. They say it has it, and in my experience, it does. After I did a metallic black SUV with it, I came back an hour and a half later, and there was hardly any dust on the car. About what I would see from other waxes after only 25 minutes, and if it was Souveran, only 15 minutes. That fact, as it keeps the car looking more dust free, makes it cleaner and the car look better than most other waxes do. The initial shine and glow it has is great as well. Nothing to complain about. It looks rich with a glow to it and it's clear and deep. Add to that the incredible ease of use, and the wonderful smell, combined with the respectable durability it has make it a favorite of mine, and will always be my go to wax for cars that are outside a lot, uncovered, until something better comes along. The only way to significantly improve the product is to increase the durabilty to say, 6-8 months. I like at least 3 coats on a car to see the improvement in looks it offers.

What someone should do is a dust attraction test on all the waxes, and then consider that you can't be jumping out of your car at every stop light to give it a quick detail, and then you will appreciate the benefits of not attracting dust on your car.

Good question Kurt. I will find out today. I got in trouble for playing with cars too much this weekend and had to entertain the GF yesterday. I hope to find out today.

 I don't blame him.

Nah, I think everyone getting involved and offering up their opinion on a product only helps the consumers as well as the manufacturers. Especially since I feel AG actually listens to what their customers have to say.

I am going to try the 105>205>Fuzion and 105>205>P21s later on today. I might also try them side by side with 3M performance finish, as well as any other waxes i can get my hands on today. Just to see if these are performing better then budget waxes.

Remember right now my tests are about looks. Only time will tell for durability.

That is one big reason I'd use it! This is the single reason I only use sealant only on my 4X4. Also why I use CG anti-static QD too.

That's a nice idea! It is nice and dusty where I live in Australia, so if everyone sent me a wax they'd like in the test, that would be great!

I have never seen anyone say that and in my experience it is FAR from it. Sure sitting in the garage it's fine but when I go out to my bro in laws and drive down his gravel driveway my car is covered in dust. It's so bad it looks like someone dumped a bucket of dirt on the car. Out of all the waxes and sealants I have tried Fuzion is the only one that has that problem when I go out there.

My car seemed to attract a lot of dust with Fuzion as well. Of course, it sits outside most of the time, but it got noticeably dirtier between washing. When it's clean, though, it sure looks good. :)

Interesting.

If driving down a dirt road or parking in a dusty environment, a vehicle with get dirty or dusty no matter which products are used. A vehicle protected with Wolfgang Fuzion will be easy to clean because of it provides a slick finish. Fuzion is complimented when used as part of the Wolfgang Concours Series system... polish paint with Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer of Finishing Glaze 3.0 and use Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz or Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant for best results. We understand that enthusiasts love to mix and match various brands and with this introduces many variables so when an issue may arise this makes it hard to determine which product is the cause of the concern. When used as directed, Wolfgang Fuzion Carnauba Estate Wax will perform as promised and exceed your expectations.

Does wolfgang instant detail spritz have carnauba and super polymers, or just super polymers? Can it be used as as drying aid?

No carnauba in the Instant Detail Spritz but it does have polymers and a light mist can be used anytime. I use it after washing and even after waxing as in a spit shine technique.

This is interesting and what I keep coming back to. If a product is used it only seems logical to me that you would then move to the next step with that manufacturer. It appears this really doesn't happen much. But, I would think the chemists have designed products to overlay and enhance the previous step.

I don't know, I could be way off track. But my thoughts are while trying many approaches, that I would like to settle on one brand and stick with the whole process.

Although I do like 105/205 and WDGPS and a nice carnauba augh!

Then explain to me why I get so much more build up of dust when using Fuzion then any other wax or sealant I have tried. I'm not talking a little build up I'm talking a caked on heavy build up.

I'm not knocking the wax, I'm just saying I have more of a dust problem when using it.
