What is the advantage of SIG II?

SSII is a polymer based wax, a newer formula, and best on metallics and lighter colors. Its still quite nice on darker colors however and more durable than Souveran. Souveran however has a glow and depth best and most noticable on blacks, reds, and yellows.

Bingo!

I was really surprised so see how great my yellow Corvette looked with Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax. Don't get me wrong, Signature Series ll and DP Max Wax looked great on it but the yellow just seemed more yellow....:props:

I'm not a chemist but I find it interesting how some waxes look different on different cars and colors...

Since everyone is singing the praises of Pinnacle's SSII, I'll just have to put it on my shopping list.
Sounds like it is just the product I need for my Smoke Metallic Altima. :dblthumb2:

What about Liquid Souveran? What colours does it stand out on, and what about the durability?-

This is making me want to get both, i have tub of souveron but this deal is hard to pass up. Well at least this will last for 2 weeks, think i'll buy the souveron and in a week buy the SSII.

thanks for everyones input

the formula is quite different that either of the Pinnacle Pastes. It looks good all on all colors and you can apply, allow to cure, and then buff whereas the others are often best found to use the WOWO method.

What about durability? And how long must you wait before applying a 2nd or 3rd coat? Really wanna get some especially now that it is on BOGO :xyxthumbs:

Popped the flake on the XLR. Very easy to use. Fuzion didnt pop the flake as much!

its pretty durable, like all Pinnacle products is best used with their soap and sprays (CM or Souveran Spray Wax). As far as topping, I have seen no appreciable wait time and limit to 2 coats anything more is likely just wasted product.

looks great on pearl white as well. I use it as a topper to a sealant because of its lack of durability. A layer of DG 501 or DP poli coat cured then apply SSII is great.

I don't know if I will ever get to try it as I have 2 pots of Paste Glaz and a pot of "original signiture" that cam out after paste Glaz :xyxthumbs:
