Yes & yes. Water does same but effect isnt as dramatic.
I like it on back and front windows ... I still use Stoners Invisible Glass w/ Rain additive for side windows.

I tried using aquapel today and it just hazed up on the glass. It was almost impossible to get off, I had to use glass cleaner to eventually get it all off. I used it just as directed. Maybe it did this because I had left it in my car, including in winter months, for over a year....idk
With Aquapel I never have any issues with application or removal.
1. Wash car as normal
2. (optional but recommended) Use DP Glass Restorer to clean
(you can switch these two steps as desired as wash will remove any dust)
3. Shake well, crack, and apply immediately outside of direct sunlight
4. Ask wife to use papertowel and rub around any excess (looks like silicone on glass until hazes)
5. Move around quickly and apply to as many windows as possible till dries (do not keep trying to apply once tube dried) -- wife follows to remove/spread excess
6. Buff off with soft towel

Using this process, to how many windows can you apply the Aquapel?
Any particular type or brand of paper towel?
What type of soft towel for buffing? Will this towel become permanently contaminated?
What does the DP Glass Restorer do and is there a substitute if one doesn't have any?
