Can someone post a pic of the problem towels? I was running out the door, and forgot to take a peak at mine...
Call Penny @ 800-869-3011 ext. 202. She will make it right. You will probably get a store credit IME.just got my pack of 3 indigo MF towels yesterday. having read this post, i went to inspect the edges more closely and you are right! those are some rough and hard plastic edges. this is disappointing as the whole reason of spending that extra money on buying edgeless towels is that it won't create scratches. hm.....wonder what i am going to do with these now. maybe use a pair of scissors and just trim off the rough plastic edges as clean as possible.

AG's customer service is outstanding.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will be communicating with our manufacturer to resolve this issue.
Of course, anyone that has received and is unhappy with these towels can contact either myself, Meghan or our customer service department and we will be happy to offer either a refund or an exchange.
Really do like the indigo mf towles, just got some Pinn. Sovg. and the towel enclosed had the bad edge. oh well, to the misc. rack it goes.
Great attitude...Great service...as always :dblthumb2:
The Indigo's and White Edgeless towels have long been a well regarded and extremely popular towel for removing polishes. It sounds like the manufacturer changed the process on ends and perhaps AG isnt aware of it, especially with the high volume of orders during the holiday season. I would contact Meghan or Jason and show this issue. I am sure they will contact manufacturer as necessary to report differences and remind you of AG's No Hassle Return Policy.
someone receiving these should of noticed and caught the difference on these. they aren't cheap and one would expect the get the exact item pictured. this reminds of the glass waffle weaves that people ordered a while back that were nothing like the one pictured... http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/discounts-specials/28997-first-fall-bogo-friday-9.html
I wouldn't be too hard on AG. Cursory evaluation of incoming stock is the norm for any business. Are they the correct size, color, fabric, how many boxes and stated contents against the invoice, etc. We can't expect AG to inspect every individual towel that comes from the manufacturer and for all we know, there could be mixed lots in the delivery with only a percentage of towels with the hot wire cutting process.
I'm not sure where the towels were manufactured but there is a long history of manufacturing in certain counties where the factory will substitute parts outside of contract or change the contracted manufacturing specs without asking permission or telling the buyer that it was done. It's one of the reasons that I preferred to manufacture in the US.
The most important thing to remember is AG's willingness to stand by their products and customers. If you are not happy with the towels, just give them a call.
