Hello everyone. I took some time last week to put together a video series of my detailing rig and the products and equipment I use. I wanted to give people who are looking at getting into detailing as a business a resource for the products and equipment that I use personally as an experienced detailing professional.
All of the information in these videos is my personal opinion as I am sure not everyone feels as strongly about the products I use as I do.
I am in no way directly affiliated with any of the companies that I name drop about except that I use their products and I have good business relationships with the companies and their employees.
I am in the process of filming many more videos for my website. If you have any comments or suggestions as far as content or general questions for me, feel free to contact me through the forums, email, or my cell phone. I am happy to aid you in your detailing endeavors.
Here are 4 videos.
*I forgot to grab my Brinkmann dual xenon (swirl finder) light out of my truck for Part 4, but I keep it with me at all times.
Thank you very much for watching!

I noticed you carry a lot of sand paper, but I didn't see you mention a rotary. Do you have the correction ability necessary to remove sanding marks with just DAs?

In Part 4 I did mention that I generally do not carry my rotary on mobile jobs on cars. I will carry it if I need to remove oxidation from boats or wetsand paint while mobile.

I generally only spot wetsand or sand severe headlights while mobile, but yes, I do have the ability to remove sanding scratches with a D/A, no problem. Any considerable wetsanding or paint correction is done by appointment at my shop.

Well i have to say you did a nice job! Most people wont spend too much time to show new detailers what they carry and a quick view of their setup..

I have wanted to do something like that as well but i just bought (finally) a computer that isnt a POS so I can actually start doing neat projects like that now! I just have to learn how! haha

Thank you! I just know I was looking for videos like this when I started out and I couldnt find much. These are just a few of many to come.

Thank you for taking the time to do this! Those are great videos.

I would love to do a walk through of my shop and mobile setup some day. I use a LOT of Malco products. Don't know how familiar some of you are with Malco. But, I love a ton of their stuff, and would like to share my "go to" products and explanations of why. Someday....someday.

Nice job OP!:props::props::props::props::props::props:

Thanks so much for sharing the info, I'm in the process of doing more details than just friends and family, and I found your videos very helpful.

Thanks guys! It was my pleasure. I am filming more today since its a nasty day out.

Great vids Garry. I am a possible future detailer and these vids were great. Seems like you can be a very good detailer without having to spend a ton of money.

Thanks

Great videos Thanks for posting them.
Will you be at Detail Fest? I would like to meet you if you attend.

Wow! Garry, nice videos. It's always cool to hear from the Pro's. It's definitely interesting to see what products people like to use. Thanks so much for putting all your time and effort into the videos.

Great job on the videos and I think they will benefit people looking to get into the business :) You use alot of the same products as me in my mobile unit, not only are they easy to use, you will get great results :) Thanks for taking the time to put that together :xyxthumbs:

I like the candid discussion on products you like and use (not always the same).
