Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System - Pre-Order!

i have asked this questions on other forums but has anyone seen the new dispensening bottles listed that have the new 2-position cap and will they come with a larger bottle. Anyone know ?

I have not seen the new bottles listed for sale anywhere yet. The only info I have heard is from Jason Rose in the video with Mike, where he stated that the new 2 position 16oz bottles will be sold pre-filled or you will also be able to buy them empty. I have not heard of any other sizes being mentioned.
 
I am curious about the "Pistol Grip DA Polisher" included in the Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System 3 Inch Starter Kit -- see picture below.

Anyone have any experience with this little pneumatic "spot" DA? I like the idea of having a dedicated DA for the tight spots so that you don't have to change backing plates on the PCXP. Also, I wonder how would it compare to a Griot's 3" ROP for use with the 3" Microfiber Correction System? I assume the pneumatic tool would have more power for correction, but maybe the Griot's has adequate power for the MF system. What do you guys think?
 
Good question. I have also wondered about the new Meguiars pneumatic machine. You can never have too many tools. (something the wife will never understand)
 
That new DA is one of two pneumatic mini tools Meguiar's announced this year (the other being a rotary). They are supposedly similar to the Chicago Pneumatic tools they've been packaging into their professional headlight restoration kit, but have lower air consumption.

I too am anxiously awaiting their release of these tools, and have been watching their introduction thread on MOL very closely.

Will this 3 inch Backing plate work with a PCXP ?
 
Quick question, forgive me if this has been covered recently, I have been putting in a ton of miles on the road this past week.

Is this system good for the 3401, or only free-floating DAs like the 7424 or GG

Don't see why not as it is geared towards DAs though the backing plate might be an issue as discussed above.

Looks Like I'll buy a 5inch kit and a 3inch kit

I would love to know where I can get my hands on one of these little pistol grip DA polishers, just got a new 20 gallon compressor this week and would like to have one of these... Will Autogeek sell these?

I too am anxiously awaiting these.


I also see that the 3" MF Cutting Discs didn't come in with the rest of the "stuff" -- I got an email saying they'll be coming separately later.

At this time there is no ETA on the Pistol Grib polisher but it shouldn't be too long. As soon as we have 'em, you guys will be the first to know. :buffing:

That's correct. We're expecting the 3" cutting pads in approximately 2-3 weeks.
