I need to look at my production date, if they have one, when I get home. The last one I received in exchange felt a lot more firm on the power cord where it connects to the unit than the previous two. I couldn't see any changes but it sure felt a lot more sturdy.

Hopefully it is the lastest model . But when I heard about the new machine coming out I was under impression it was totally a new design and another source was making it for Meguiars . So at this point I guess we have to wait and hear from someone from Auto Geek who does the ordering .

So, the new version is going to be the exact same as far as power?

That I have no idea on only thing that was mentioned was using another source to build them and also refining the problem areas . If I hear more Mark I will let you know because you will buy a new one and I get your old one LOL
