Northeast Detailing vs. Dodge Daytona. Ding ding ding!!

Wow - make sure to get your tetanus shot!!! Goodluck man - I know you got this!:dblthumb2:

I am definitely interested in this turnaround. I am going to show my age, but when I was in high school there were 3 cars that every kid lusted for:Mustang 5.0, Daytona Turbo Z, VW GTI 16V. It is rare to even find a Daytona these days much less one to detail.

This one is the shelby-Z turbo too :xyxthumbs:

It looks like someone blew chow in the glovebox......gross!

Good luck man!

Just a little insight on how I'm going about cleaning this beast...

Here's what I'm using to kill the odor, and breakdown stains. My chemical of choice. This stuff happens to be something called Fresh Start 2000. It's some random stuff I picked up off a salesman...and it actually works pretty good for a lot of things. Vinyl brush to scrub chemical. Steamcleaner to kill odor, bacteria, etc. Clean MF to wipe it down.

Here's the passenger side front seat done using this method.

This is the seat after the wipe down. I will be doing the same thing for the carpets. Then, I will follow up with the hot water extractor to really seal the deal. :dblthumb2:

Awww yeah! I love these kind of extreme makeovers. I've done a few of those in my day, lots of work but really rewarding to do. One not as-bad example... only pics I have uploaded:

You will never have to demonstrate your bravery in any other way...

My only question is: why?

You are a brave man .... My recommendation would have been the death sentence!

Can't wait to see the final results.

Wowza. I am totally subscribing to see this turn around. Interior Detailer of the year right there!

OP, does it smell?

if so, i'll PM you a line that works great for totally removing odors and then maintaining from that point forward. works differently than most products in the category.

Can't wait to see the results! I remember couple months ago you post a nightmare interior and you got the job done. I know this one will also be an excellent results.

Yeah it smells, It was taken over by mice and chipmunks. I don't think it will smell when I'm done though. It already smells a lot better after just doing the seats. Once I do the carpets real good. Should do the trick. But sure, I'm down for anything new! PM away!:xyxthumbs:

You planning on running a deodorizer through the HVAC ducts? It'll probably need it or else the smell will just come back. Personally I'd have pulled the seats and carpet out to make sure nothing got in under them, too. Just depends on how far this guy wants to go with "reviving" the vehicle and/or what he'll pay for.
