Hey everyone, Its been QUITE a while since i've done a write up but we had a nice Lexus SUV a couple weeks back that we did a full interior on...and lets just say it met its match

This baby was about 10 years old, had light colored leather and carpet and hadn't had much done to it in quite some time. Anyone who's had to deal with light colored leather and carpet before is probably cringing right about now....but as I said above.....we handled it.
For those who care, we used the following products (I should start getting paid as a sponsor for these guys!)
Megs #39 Deep Cleaner and #40 Conditioner (for vinyl,rubber and some leather)
Megs APC (the green stuff!) (for some leather spots and heavily scuffed rubber/vinyl)
Megs APC+ (the orange stuff!) (for carpet spotting)
Folex Carpet Cleaner (for spotting)
DP All Interior Cleaner (used for most leather cleaning)
Pinnacle Leather Conditioner
OxyClean (mixed with hot water and used on carpets)
So i'll stop the blabbin and start the picture posting soooooo YOU can start drooling :dblthumb2:.
We'll start with where MOST of the grime resided.....the drivers seat of course....let me show you what we were working with:
No you didn't read wrong...this IS light colored leather...honestly! It just has a sort of...coating on it right now thats all. Here's how it turned out after a little (well, more like a lot) TLC.
SEE ITS LIGHT! Here is a close up before shot of it (sorry for the shadows, I asked the sun to move but it didn't listen):

The drivers arm rest was HORRIBLE...but my sis took care of it....here is the before:
And here is the after shot...hey look...accidental 'product placement'
The center console was quite the mess too....reminded me of a mini version of the 'sticky pit of doom' we dealt with last summer...it looked like a 2 liter had been dumped in it with syrup to top it off....well this one wasn't that bad...but those pennies were stuck in there pretty good...
Here it is all finished...and NO we did not steal the pennies!....they were too sticky...so we kindly gave them to her
The drivers door had some nice shoe scuffs on it that made for a nice tie in with the dirty seats:
But they too had to get outta here (the ones that remained were actually cuts in the vinyl :bash

The running board had a nice matching set of scuffs as well...consistency people consistency! Gotta love it!
Now you seem em, now you don't:
Moving onto the passenger seat...it wasn't as BAD as the driver (they usually arn't) but it was no spring picnic either...here is the before:
And here it is all beautified:
Now moving on...or back i should say...to the back seats. The seats weren't too bad...the carpet did need some love though. A nice combo we've been using is while the carpet is still dry...hit it with APC or APC+ (depending on how bad)...and...if it has really bad spots...hit it with Folex as well...let it set for just a minute...then go over it with Oxyclean mixed with hot water....this carpet wasn't too bad so i just hand scrubbed it...but for the tough ones (like the Benz we did yesterday, i'll post pictures on it soon) I break out the PC with the brush attachment...and there hasn't been much that we've run into that the combo listed above couldn't handle. We use the 'Little Green' carpet shampooer...it sells for around $100 at wal-mart...but we found one for $12 at goodwill! Now...the water heater function is broken...but that's why we have hot water heaters now isnt it? Here is the before of the back:
And here is how it turned out...not too bad i don't think:
Lets look at it from the other side just to make sure....

Oh yeah..it's clean enough to eat off of for sure :xyxthumbs:
Now I wont lie...the back hatch area looked like it had hardly been used! BUT I think this shows that we're pretty good at what we do..because we took something that was good and made it better...what do you think? Before:

Finishing up where we started...the front dash was darker, so you couldn't SEE how dirty it was...but I think the after photos showed what a big difference our work made:

Here it is from another angle (yeah..we're a LITTLE vain when it comes to showing off our work, but it's part of the job!)
Last but not least...the gear shift/control console area...you know it has to be spotless....here is the Before:
And all done....no more...finished...time to get paid and go get foodIm the MAN
....ugh...I JUST hit my 30 picture limit...now i realize I could just delete one of my pictures....but after looking at them...NO WAY...they're just too awesome...soooo I will post the final picture below in a separate post
