Introducing - Detailer's Pro Series!

So just for clarification on the boards, should we refer to old DP products as DP (Detailer's Pride) and the new stuff as DPS (Detailer's Pro Series)?

I e-mailed a tip to a corporate branding blog called Brand New that I read to see if they'll critique the new logo and packaging.

Can I get a couple of new Poli-Coat and MaxWax labels so I can put them over my old DP labels?;)

I'm sure they'd be glad to give you a couple labels for the right price. They might even throw in new containers and fill them with the corresponding products if you ask real nice! :p

I don't like the look of the new sprayers. They don't look as durable. I really liked the sprayers on the old DP bottles.

What happens to the old sold stuff? I smell a BIG sale! Bigger then the previous DP sale.
I would also like specifics on what has change, formulation wise.

I like the new sprayers. They're a lot more comfortable than the original sprayers and they're actually pretty durable. I've never had one break on me.

to me it does no good to say something has been changed without saying how it got changed

Absolutely agree ! Hopefully someone from AG will chime in tomorrow.

I think they already said all they are going to say and it's going to be up to us to check out the stuff.

Personally, if they just changed the labels, I'm fine with it. I like Poli-Coat exactly the way it is and MaxWax smells great.:xyxthumbs:

If that's the case, I think that's the WRONG thing to do.

Agreed. Every other product manufacturer gives customers some idea of the revisions that have been made if they're noteworthy (and in this case, if they're important enough to have deserved mention in the PR release, they're noteworthy) and I would expect no different from PBMA.

"Give your finish that sparkling sheen with DP Poli-Seal, now featuring Tiger Blood to add to our already #WINNING formula!" or something.

I wonder if they answered the question here...

Ether way, I really like the products I have try from this line so far and don't think they need to be reformulated...

I really hope that it just changes the label/logo. So i sense something might change after big big big sale...

Good for them. I hope the new packaging and whatever product revs they did are a great success. I bought a fair amount of product on the last BOGO. So far I've only used the rinsless wash because of the crappy PA weather. My wife and I were quite impressed. It did a super job - exactly as advertised. Hopefully this weekend I'll get to try the rest.

Great marketing. Black and Gold are the hottest colors right now..... Eye catching and bold.

I agree John, it's a much more catchy label than the original.

I do wish Autogeek success with this "improved" product and hope it works as well as the original...

Charlie, after reading numerous posts of yours, I've come to the conclusion that you're a pretty bright guy. :props:

Now, let's get AG to answer our questions. :)
