FOX news channel...

I can't stand how much they repeat the "news"! Rather watch CNBC and get my "news" from the net.:)

Of course there is good stuff there, but I absolutely cannot stand the constant cutting off and talking-over the guests/interviewee's. Ask a question, cut 'em off... :bash:

Watching the frustration of someone who is unable to make their case in response to a question makes me want to rip my hair out... Guess you don't have that problem Mark (or used to, really bad)

:iagree:If I watch anything FOX seems like a good fit for how I think BUT I agree they talk right over the guest or rush them off.

Fox is my major news network. MSNBC drives me crazy and CNN puts me to sleep. When it comes to politicians I think you have to cut them off or they will fillibuster and ignore the question and stay on their talking points while ignoring the host.

The words FOX and news cannot be seriously stated in the same sentence. Nuff said...

When listining to all of these shows you have to separate the news part from the talking heads. The talking heads are there mainly as a ratings deal and for entertainment values , like them or not.

Opinions are like...

Fox offers something that the rest don't. They lean one way while all the others lean the other. Too bad everybody gets so upset that those that disagree with themselves actually have a voice.

There is a 80/20 media bias in this country. Fact!

TV Media in general is very sad in today's day and age.

One show that's good is Morning Joe on MSNBC. Probably the only thing watchable there for me. I love it!

I miss Tim Russert and Meet the Press. The last real journalist on TV.

I travel over 3,000 miles a week on average and mostly at night. I live on my XM radio and scan all of the news talk shows from A-Z. From a social value they mostly come up short or are a complete failure.I try and keep a open mind and remember that basically they are their to intertain and not really stimulate the mind. It gets me thru the nite.

I NEVER watch television..... just found out yesterday about Japan, really sad stuff goin on there.

I happen to like the figure heads on FOX.
Me too.

I like FOX between 5AM-4PM or so. Once Neil is on it seems like more and more commentary. CNN, MSNBC, CBS and so on are all blatantly left leaning in their "reports", and FOX is the only right leaning network. Me being borderline conservative/libertarian, I can only watch FOX without getting completely upset at the way the news is reported.

Plus, I really like the “BEAR ALERTS” when Shepp is on.:props:

Right wing, left wing, who cares? I'm conservative myself, but at this point, neither parties are accomplishing anything. All they do is point fingers. And remember, for every finger you point at somebody else, there are 4 fingers pointing back at you. I'm sick of both parties. We need to get some regular folk into office, people who don't have a conveyor belt running from the taxpayers into their own pockets. Very frustrating, to say the least.

Hah, I need to show this pic to my neighbor, he spends sooo much time crying and whining about FOX news he would really get a kick out of this. And he's the type of person that would waste countless hours and money from is pubic assistance check to make a sign like that. Some people have nothing better to do I guess :xyxthumbs:

Quoted for truth. If you have not seen the documentary Outfoxed, I highly recommend you watch it. Rupert Murdoch's is a tyrant who only presents the "news" from one perspective, his! The network is a joke for journalism and offers absolutely no credible information other than feeding sheep. A majority of their information is fictitious and exaggerated to such a degree that it's baffling how people can sit, watch, and actually believe it!
