I love auto geeks forum...and i was wondering if anyone here knows of an auto REPAIR forum...for DIYers like myself that goes in depth about car care under the hood as much as AG goes in depth about care for everything else about your car.

I like how AG breaks it down all the way to the foundational basics and goes all the way up to as advanced as it gets for car care and wanna know if anyone here knows of a forum for car repair...if you do...could you let me know what it is?

Appreciate it guys...btw...this is my 1,000 post...crazy:buffing:

Any particular brand of vehicle?

Yes ^ Google the make of your car along with the word "FORUM" and I'm sure you will be directed to a site that will have a bunch of know-it-alls anxiously awaiting your question

This made me giggle. Thanks.

If you are looking for a good site with plenty of research, suggestions etc. concerning motor oil, oil filters etc., Bobtheoilguy.com is a great resource and similar in tone to Autogeek's forum.

As others have stated, you are bound to find a forum directly related to your make and model car. IMO, some are a bit better than others, so you may want to check out more than 1 that pops up in your search results.

Ain't that the truth. I see so much bad info posted on the Web at times it makes head explode. My suggestion is to go with what makes sense to you and avoid long winded responses

appreciate the help and suggestions guys...and yea thats the really messed up thing about the internet....probably the WORST thing about it...it puts lies and idiots on the same platform as truth and people who actually know what they're talking about...unfortunately it doesnt just stop at car forums...its EVERYTHING
