As all of you know Fred was the proud winner of the Skull Candy prize from Dodo!

Well for those of you that know Fred, you know he is absolutely awesome guy, very much the gentleman and I just love seeing him. I have been to shows outside of Detail Fest where I have run into Fred and its always a pleasant surprise. I think last one was Clearwater Mobile Tech.
To get on with the story Fred presented me with one of the most honored and prized possessions in the wax world, the one and only Master Cranium Brain! He felt he could not do justice to this fine piece of a treasure, which I believe he could! But Saturday night at the social he presented it to me. I feel very honored to have it, and I will display it proudly for Fred! One of the nicest things anyone has done for me, this skull is a prized possession in this industry.
Fred you are the best!

And with Fred's great generosity PJ and I had to make sure he was taken care of...which Fred was MORE then grateful for, he really didn't even want us to, but we were able to twist his arm.

And that was one of my favorite stories from Detail Fest... I have the skull under look and key in a hidden location...
Well actually it's in my office on top of my TV so I can stare at it! :xyxthumbs:

I really enjoyed being there to experience this in person.

Fred is such a nice guy and I was in awe when I first learned in January at the detailing class that he in fact won the skull.
It really says a lot about him to give it to you Meghan, but he knows that it is in good hands and will be enjoyed by many this way.

And PJ ... well he is one of a kind and having him there made this even more perfect.

Very true, having PJ there for that made it a perfect exchange! Fred is sweet as they get, I have always enjoyed talking with him. I will make sure many see it, but no one touches the skull especially those I know will run and run fast with it!!!
 
WOW Meghan, that's pretty nice of him so I can see why you're very excited! :props:
 
That's fricken awesome! Wax in place of brains...that's impressive. I would definitely use that in front of customers just to get a reaction, haha. I wonder how long they would watch me before they said something.

Customer : "Ummmmm, are you spreading monkey brains on my car??"
Me : "You damn right I am. It's all I use. This here is spider monkey...works great." haha
 
The Dodo Juice Skull Candy Skull is awesome looking. Meghan was so excited when Fred gave that to her.

first off - Fred, you are an All Star. as i said to you at the time, this is a superior act of generousity and 'karma-icly' i hope it returns ten fold upon you.

second - i was honored to be there, and it is a great new home the Cranium has found. i know it will love it there.

thirdly - and not least - thank you to all at Detail Fest, i had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed meeting alot of new faces and catching up with some known.

is it bad to already be excited for next year ? 8)
 
The Skull has found a resting place on top of my TV with the others...you are all welcome to visit
but you will be carefully watched for sticky hands. :bat:

Giving Meghan the Dodo Skull is totally MY pleasure. Detail Fest gets better every year and is worth the trip from wherever you come.

Meghan, it is almost summer now. Don't run that TV too much. We can't have the "Family" melting.

I never thought of that, I should move it off my TV, I do watch or should I say listen to news at work. I need to have the boys put me in a nice shelf so I can display the Skull safely!!!

Can't think of anyone more than deserving considering how Meghan treats all of us (and many others I'm guessing) on a day-to-day basis.

It was a long wait to DetailFest but, I coulden't miss the oppurtunity to have PJ present.
