I'm almost out of my Suede CQuartz "Blue" MF's.I am on my 4th 30ml bottle of CQuartz and the amount of "Blue" suede MF's that come with the CQ kits,are not nearly enough to use to finish each bottle of CQ.
I have gone thru my supplied CQuartz "Blue" suede MF's and had to purchase more from Phil over at DD.Now he is out as well.
I wanted to ask if anyone know's where I can pick up more of the suede MF's that are similar to the one's that come with the 30ml CQuartz kits?
These work VERY well when applying and removing the CQ from delicate/soft paints,without marring.
Any leads would be extremely helpful.

I will definetly check them out.
If they have what I need,I would be willing to send ya a nice thank you gift because I'm searching and can't find that exact "CQ MF" fabric.
I have a vehicle that is waiting to be finished and I won't have enough suede MF's to finish the job.
 
Don't be silly, that's what forums are for. You can also try Euroworeilly. You'll have to drill down to the towels under the automotive cleaning supplies.
 
I have checked Microfibertech,they are not what I'm looking for.
Have you tried CQ yet?The CQ blue mf's are unlike any MF I have used until them.
Euroworeilly don't show anything similar?

Maybe optical lens fabric is a better comparison?
 
Eurow has the optical lens cloths...they are calling them "satin weave" now. They used to have the same thing at MFT...it was hard to see what theirs was like now from the current picture. You looked at the one at MFT that was called "microfiber suede optical cloth"?
 
I thought they recommended make-up applicators? That's what the video on their website shows.

Mind you,this is for removing the CQ as well.The square (little&big size) MF's are used with the supplied foam applicator to apply/ remove the CQuartz.
I prefer the supplied blue suede mf's over the make-up applicator's.I have tried both (4th bottle of CQ) and the suede works better for ME.
 
Ah, good to know. I am still trying to decide between this and Opticoat. I may do one of each on our two main vehicles and see how they compare.

I did see "microfibers suede optical cloth" but viewing from my phone,they did not look quite right.But then again maybe on my home computer they will look different.
 
I believe I found them at shop microfiber.They look just like CQ MF's but they are grey and 8"x8".
 
Oh, THOSE, like the ones they give you when you buy a pair of glasses. Never heard of that place, they even have a 12x12 Eurow shag, sort of.

our suede MF new batch will arrive to AG in 7 days,
10cm2 , 20xm2, 40cm2 .
as you said they are very good for applying or wiping both Cquartz or Reload
inside the CQ kit there are only 5 pcs of 10cm2 suede's and these are for applying with the CQ applicator

im sorry for this delay... we only starting in the US , but i believe all will be ok soon with stocks all our products .

Hey Avi,It's Chris.
That's great news to hear AG will have the suede MF's.Definitely prefer them over the cotton applicator's for applying and removing CQ on soft paints.
 
Very interesting thread Chris. So, you are using the optical type suedes to remove the CQ? How many do you typicall go through on one car? I have my CQ waiting for me to get off my butt and put it on my butter soft Porsche. I never would have thought to use that kind of cloth. I am going to get some of those from shopmicrofiber and give them a shot.

Chris also said in another thread that he found those mf's to mar very soft paint. You may wish to try it with the makeup pads. That's what I use and have never had marring issues.
 
Don't know if this company is around your area. But, I order my towels from a company called UniFirst, and they deliver me the blue suede style MFs. It's not very expensive to have a bundle delivered each month. I love their services. Beats the hell out of washing them yourself, or buying new. They get dry cleaned for you. :dblthumb2:
