I am now an OPC believer

What is the brush applicator, who makes it? Looks like a handy little gizmo.
You can get those brushes in the grocery store buy the dish washing detergent usually. They are made for washing dishes. They work great.

Spot on, this is the one I grabbed:

Very cool writeup Bill! Perfect photos as always... Thank you!

just curious how does this compare to Amazing Roll Off when it comes to wheel and engine cleaning? have seen great reviews when used for interior work and bug removal

I did a side by side between OPC full strength and ARO and ARO did not do as well. I was surprised given the reviews.

I love OPC too. I use it 3:1 for wheel cleaning - it does a fantastic job.

that surprises me too. i remember ARO was a hot product awhile ago and it seemed it was everyones goto for wheels.

It surprised me too. I plan to use it on an engine soon to see how it does.

I've been using OPC for quite a while now leather, but never seen someone use a soap dispensing brush, I'm all over that idea. Next time I'm at the grocery store I'm gonna pick me one up for sure!

I LOVE OPC! After trying out a 17oz bottle I'll be buying a gallon my next order.

Bill, I would not have ever used OPC at full strength on leather until I read this thread. Thanks for sharing.

hang on fellas ... is it just me or does it look like OPC at full strength really pulled out any potential oils that might have been in that leather and really dried it out?!?!?!?!
What is the PH on OPC straight?
I find it hard to believe that something that can pull grease and crud from tires is as safe straight on leather?!?!?!?!
Help me understand this please

It is safe. The ph is around 11, just wipe down with a damp cloth when finished cleaning.

Wow! I'm shocked Al! I love OPC and it's currently the only apc I use but I always use ARO for engines, tires, and most bad wheels.

Just bought a few gallons of Megs APC+ since it was only $12. Can't get myself to spend the extra on the OPC yet!! If they ever have it on BOGO, i'll pick some up then, but im thinking it sells well enough that i'll never see that! :(

APC+ is no slouch, I just like OPC better.

Let me reword it another way. For removing tire brown, I found OPC better than meg's APC+ or ARO. Mothers all wheel and tire cleaner worked similar to OPC on tire brown.

These cleaners may do better on some crud that others.

I do plan to try ARO it on an engine soon (maybe this weekend)

I purchased a gallon and made a 32 oz spray bottle of 3:1. So far used it on the leather in the wifes car (note her leather was just like the pics in the original post, and 3:1 cleaned it up without issue), our leather couch (which was even worse than the wifes car), a couple carpet "oops"-es, and now to clean my tires before applying tire shine.

Safe to say this is the first product that Ive bought a gallon of that I actually want to not waste one drop of. Its just that good.

BTW I picked up the exact same scrub brush/liquid applicator from Harbor Freight on clearance for 47 cents!!
