SSII...VERY Dissapointed...WTF???

Just glad you don't still hate me and wish I were dead :)

I dont allow hatred in my heart Flash! Hate is an terrible negative destructive emotion I want no part of !And I would never ever wish anyone dead!!!

Sorry for the hijack/ personal chatter everyone !:)At least the thread will get bumped up:bump2:

while the SSII isn't bad, i also didn't care for it. thus trading it away...

I actually just put this on both my vehicles, both black (which I read SSII isn't the best for). I actually loved the look it gave on both. I can't speak to durability since its only been a week, but I did notice it wasn't exactly giving "tight beads" or anything during a shower we got last week. That didn't bother me really since I've read that really isn't a good indicator on level of protection.

I should note on one vehicle I used the SSII over wolfgang sealant 3.0 after polishing. The other vehicle I used the SSII over wolfgang sealant 3.0 after using P21s paintwork cleanser first. Again both times it looked outstanding.

I actually did my sisters new Ford Explorer with SSII on Weds and she was amazed at how much nicer it looked. It was a dark blue with metallic flakes under it and the whole thing was just ridiculously shiny.

thanks for the input, but remember....I never complained about the finish.

I have noticed that the solvents in the pinnacle/wolfgang wowo waxes like to be applied to bare, stripped paint. Thats when they really shine.

this especially goes for Fuzion and SSII.

when you apply them to bare paint they will feel really slick and bead water good and last.

If you top them on top of sealants or really slick QD's , IMO, there performance is so so.

i had great results with ssII i used 4star sealant top with ssII.beads like crazy.

Best look my wife's white car ever had was SSII. I should probably go back to it, but I'm a sealant guy for awhile.

Totally agree with Dr.Oldz and Nick..its all in the prep. You will get a different result next time if you do those steps with SSII or just about any other wax.
