Take this to the bank folks!
If there's a week-point to be had it's where the wire enters the handle. I think if the wire was stiffer these brushes would be much more forgiving and last allot longer.
The center rod is MUCH stronger on the Daytona.
Super bummed about this product. I did get the Juniors on BOGO, but I've only used the thing like 5 times, and I apply very little pressure as I don't require much agitating with clean wheels to start with.
A real let down that it already broke out the handle. You're comment couldn't be more true.

Frustrating. And sorry, I just realized how old the last post in this thread was, but didn't feel the need to create an all new thread for my issue.

I have some superglue I can give a try. I guess coating at the bottom and around the sides should give it both metal and wood contact. Will give that a whirl, thanks for tip.Hand the same Thing happen to mine after 4-5 uses. A few drops of gorilla super glue an screw the wire back in an now I've used it everyday over the past year (100s of rims) an never had the problem again. Hope this helps
A lot of the problem with the wire breaking at the handle like yours is when rinsing..Don't hold the handle and shake, with the weight of the water, this will cause stress on the handle. Grab the wire just above the handle and shake.

I have the speed brush an the detail brush. I like them but even with twisting I get splattered. I am thinking about trying some wheel woolies next.
