Don't know why I didn't join the forum a long time ago. Guess I got used to the condescending tone you can pretty much find anywhere but now that I'm here, I have been more than surprised at the supporting and helpful nature of everyone.

This is only the beginning. :)

NICE ORDER! Is that a foam gun or a foam cannon? Is that the FLEX 3401? Ha, this is basically my next "No Restrictions" order, especially with the Black Fire.

You're right, everyone here is really cool, the learning actually ends up creating an addiction we all share, and AutoGeek makes out like a bandit, haha, and I DO NOT mean that in a bad way whatsoever of course!

Can you please list each of your products, and do you do this as a hobby on your own car, or do you detail for income?

Actually, I just placed another $500 in orders... yikes... I need to get some more clients! I'll be posting even more unboxing pictures this week when the three orders arrive!

:) Thanks. Washmit is Supernatural Wookie's fist. Its bigger than my wife's shih-tzu. He's not a fan of it lol.

Its a foam gun. Still playing with it. Trying to achieve more "foam" less "suds."

I dropped a little over a grand on this order, and I was EXTREMELY conservative. Just wanted to get a little boost to what I already have. I got the 3401 to take my rotary work to the next level and I knew I could achieve a more refined finish with a dual action polisher. I wanted something that worked quickly, and was as durable as possible. Flex was a no-brainer. I plan on adding smaller backing plates and pads that compliment them next.

I'm sure they don't take it that way at all. Glad to share my passion with others who have the stigma, all on a site that supports our craving for the best shine!

I started out in a shop, correcting paint flaws from the booth and saving others from paint work, and prepping cars for sale at a dealership. Started reading, studying, playing at work and started getting compliments quickly. I've moved on to turning wrenches but I'll be detailing until I'm polishing the inside of my casket. Make a few customers happy and word spreads like wildfire.

As far as a product list for this order goes,

Flex 3401 Menzerna Maximum Shine Kit
Lake Country Green course, White, Gray, Blue, Red and Gold 6.5" CCS pads and 6.5" LC wool pad
Blackfire Wet Ice Over Fire Kit
Dodo Juice Hard Candy & Rainforest Rub Sample pack
Blackfire Wheel & Tire Kit
Detailer's Pro Wheel Cleaner w/ lug nut cleaning kit
Griots Garage Yellow Clay
Daytona Speed Brush Combo
Supernatural Washmit
Cobra Ultimate Guzzler Waffle Weave
Poorboy's SuperSlick Suds
Detailer's Pro Extreme Foam Formula
Blackfire Autogeek Foam Gun
Brinkman Marine Dualfire Xenon
Couple misc. brushes and other odds and ends that didn't get pictured

Wow, thanks you RRD, excellent post, I appreciate it. Love the GTR by the way, you detail a lot of exotics? Have an awesome evening, another night owl like me!

PS: Why the bonnets on the shine/polishing kit from Menzerna? Don't foam pads take the place all those bonnets? Have you tried Menzerna against Wolfgang or Blackfire etc as far as their paint correction products with your FLEX 3401 dual action, and do you have any favorites or insight/thoughts to offer?

Hehe yeah I'm always at the computer when I'm not behind a buffer or wrench lol What is sleep anyway? I don't detail a lot of exotics, kind of a rare treat for me at this point in my detailing career, but I do enjoy them. Gotta say, there's a lot of spoilers involved when you get into the high end auto market. The Gallardo I've done, and about to visit again, rattles like a 100k mile Hyundai when on anything but glassy smooth blacktop and gear shifts feel like being kicked in the back by a mule. But few cars on the road can beat its looks.

Haven't gotten around to testing anything other than Menzerna yet with an orbital, but I'm pleased with my results thus far. The bonnets are to wrap around a clean pad attached to the orbital and use them to buff off the spent polishes. I don't use them, mostly due to not trusting them. I have microfiber towels from Sams club that are softer than they are. Plus they are a pain to work with, as I have given them a fair shot. You have to stop what you're doing, remove your working pad, apply a clean one, wrap it with the bonnet, buff off the excess, then put it all back and continue. Very time consuming IMO.

When these bottles start running low I'll probably pick up some other things to work into the mix. Probably a couple finishing polishes via Wolfgang, Optimum or Blackfire. The thing about the Flex is that she's no ordinary orbital and that is evident from the start. She will shake you around if you let her, but its all about not letting the buffer control you. Similar to a rotary, I put one hand on the head to keep it level with the surface or lean in on an edge to get aggressive, and lock the trigger and put my other hand on the very tail end near the cord to "steer". After a while it feels like a rotary, which after all these years is an extension of my arm.

Some more things i just wanted to try put

Nice order.

P-40 is a very under rated product that doesn't tend to get the love it deserves around here imo. It makes a nice QD and an even nicer waterless wash. I'll be grabbing a gallon of it in my next big order.

Cool.. i figured i would just order some small bottles to try before buying bigger ones.

Sent from my HTC PH39100

Here's my first AG order, received last week. Pretty simple and basic rinseless wash package. Next order coming up soon.

Nice haul :props: Were the carts on bogo also???

Looks good snellvilleauto :xyxthumbs:
Where did you find the cart on wheels?
Thanks

:) i usual like to buy 2 of most things just in case i like it. Anyway, i don't remember where i got the cart from but i love it. I can slide side to side to detail the lower panels. it also got storage space on the bottom for MF towels, compounds... and the best thing is it got a little cup holder for my beer :) I'll try to find the link for it

Not sure if these questions were answered, but they are Step 2 Garden Hopper, available at Lowes or Ace. Step 2 Garden Hopper (5a00) - Lawn & Utility Carts - Ace Hardware
