Post Your Unpacking Pictures

Guys, I don't know how to do the pics thing yet, but I've got to tell someone. My Flex 3401 showed up today! I had a couple of hand washes to do for neighbors, a bearing and rear disc/caliper job on my car, and now I'm off to try out this new machine. I've had a rotary, I have the PC 7424xp, and a Craftsman d.a. sander. Very excited!

Make sure the backing plate is snugly attached first! Other users have paid the price...

Have fun!

Sent from my DROID RAZR using AG Online

And while you're doing that, make sure to apply some air compressor tool lube to the felt ring...

Drove up to PB's to pick up some stuff. Got a late start, so I basically just drove up and back.

Mr PoorBoys mentioned the banners were new and for distributors and I think I'm one of the first regular guys to get one. The banners come in 2 sizes, mine is the small one.

They were very nice and helpful up there and answered a lot of my questions. He sure knows his products. I got to see around a bit. It was a long drive but it was worth it.

That's Awesome

Have you used the spray and rinse wheel cleaner?

No. I'm not really sure why I bought it because my wheels don't get too dirty. I'll maybe use it to clean something else nasty or use it to clean to rotors / drums next time I pull the wheels. I have used the Meg's Chrome Wheel Cleaner to clean different types of unpainted metals before.

New order came in today. Got the stuff from Amazon because Autogeek doesn't sell it. Ordering from Amazon made me really appreciate Autogeek. It took 3 full days after ordering to leave Amazon's packing facility! Then it only needed 1 day of traveling to get to my town and sat in some local building for 2 days. I took advantage of Autogeek's sale last night and the order was sent out at 11 this morning. Anyways, here it is.

Can you guess what this is?

Shipping with amazon varies by the seller. If amazon stock it then it's usually delivered in 2-3 days.

With Amazon Prime, it's always here in two days as long as they have it in stock. Unfortunately, Prime isn't always the best price, and PBMG products don't qualify. I have seen, however, a case where the price from PBMG was lower than on AG (before $5.99 shipping). Look up Meguiar's APC.

Post a review of the Zymol if you have the time! Your pictures reminded me I need to get a spray bottle or two for my IPA and APC

I don't know if it is ok to post here on Autogeek because they don't sell it. I definitely will have a review on another website. I wish Autogeek would sell spray bottles with those sprayers or spray bottles without sprayers completely so I could choose what sprayers I wanted it. You have no idea how good this wax smells. I want to eat it.

When I went to Harbor Freight I bought this

But then bought these adapter's at Home Depot because the Harbor Freight one's were cheap

It's like my little mini pressure sprayer.

It's almost makes the two bucket method unnecessary (for a very light dusty car)

Just one bucket

(Almost)

I just pressure spray with

•Water
•Car Shampoo
•Water
•Pinnacle waterless wash with pressure sprayer
•Then dry off with Chemical Guy's Wooly Mammoth Dry towel.

Works great for a quick wash and it it leaves the car shiny as heck.

Isn't that for a hose? How do you use it with a waterless wash ?

Yep
I haven't used it with a waterless wash (yet)

But if it can handle a really dirty car, it can handle a really dusty car.

This car went about 2 months without washing.

I have only used it for a regular wash, with more dirt a Waterless wash can handle.

I sprayed the car with
Spray gun water
Spray gun > car shampoo
2 bucket method
Spray gun > Water

It made the job so much quicker and it reduced physically touching the paint.

And before I dried I used my pressure sprayer with Pinnacle waterless wash wash concentrate before drying, on top of the left over water to add extra protection and shine.

IMO it worked fantastic, I then will just put some Pinnacle WW to the same water spray gun to eliminate the need of an extra tool. (Pressure Sprayer)

If you anybody does buy this gun go get some adapter's at Home Depot because it comes with cheapies from Harbor Freight, and at such a low price it's a good investment. IMO
