Post Your Unpacking Pictures

Unpacked this today for my shop..................

I plan to add a matching one for air at some stage. I hate untidy hoses and cables.

Some new thin applicator pads and scrubbing sponges to try out.

You’ll love both.

Hello Paul

Have had some health issueses and been off most social media. But have been slowly coming back. I'm not out of it yet but it looks way better. And the detailing interest has coming back as well. Have only been able to wash the cars every other 3 months. Did one polishing on a family car last year when they bought a newer car. Otherwise it's just been when I could be doing some washing.

Fun to be back and see what everyone is doing

Thanks

Great to hear that you are better, man.

The forum is better when you are on it.

I was grabbing some stuff from storage today and I snagged a couple of older Zep spray bottles with APC

The old one on the left dials down to a super fine spray that’s as good as any sprayer I have used

I didn’t realize the design had changed when I grabbed the new style sprayer on the right the other day

It has a horrible sprayer and I won’t buy any more

I think it’s ironic that most simple On Off type sprayers on bottles of household product put out a nicer pattern than fancy adjustable ones anymore

I’m returning these to HD tomorrow

They are junk

Loved Express so much I ordered a gallon. Also wanted to try Undressed, has anyone here used this.

I had seen these but never tried them but thanks to Coatingsarecrack and his review I decided I needed to try them

They work

Big time

He's playing hard to get. :)

No big deal just his Stubby nozzle for the Ego. II have to admit for a back ordered product he had the best communication of anything I’ve ordered from the pandemic.

I know a lot find his attitude abrasive (kinda a jerk but I feel he owns it well) but he puts a lot into researching and testing the products he offers.

I guarantee his PW testing has helped a few of us out. His content is informative (thought Scott from DPC owned Luxury Microfiber but found out he didn’t when Matt interviewed him.

He’s has know problem letting you know who makes his products. He literally sells what he likes.

He could have launched his own line and make a ton of dough but he would rather just rep the products he likes. His only 3 products have interesting stories how the came about. Again product HE likes.

I can’t say that I like him but I can definitely respect what he’s done business wise and for the detailing community.

If it was a different guy in front of the camera, with his content he’d be one of the top youtube detailing channels out there.

I was looking at the nozzle, but with our horrible US to CDN exchange and cross boarder shipping, the cost is high for what it is. I have been eying the Stubby Nozzle Co. nozzle for the Ego. Way cheaper for us up here.
I will say the pressure washer spreadsheet Matt and OG staff did is very good info, had to be a ton of work/time. It also helped me decide on which direction when I finally decided to jump into buying a pressure washer.

I wish there was a chart or guide for blower nozzles to see if any are interchangeable

They don’t make any accessories for my Kobalt unit and it desperately needs a stubby

Coatings beat me to it but Etsy appears the be the place to find the blower nozzles as many are 3D printed.

Speaking of stubby nozzles mine came in the other day along with a "blower band". Purchased directly from the supplier through etsy. As coatingsarecrack mentioned above they make them for other brands as well such as Kobalt, Milwaukee, etc.

I'm on the fence on getting the Ego 765 but if I do, the OG Stubby is what I'd get as well. Thanks for the feedback on ordering from OG. I don't really have a problem with him and my thinking is more like yours in that he has helped and shares products he likes. You do pay a premium ordering from him, or at least absolutely no discounts that I've seen.
