I feel my car has more gloss WITHOUT an LSP! *PIC*

Mark, the car looks great. I tried the S/N hybrid yesterday, also not a big fan.

Nice to see a well kept Corvette. Keep up the great work Mark.

You're not planning a trade-in/trade-up, are you? J/K :D

Mark,
What pad did you use to apply the SNH? What speed on the GG?

Hey Matt,

I used an uber grey pad on speed 3 with the Flex 3401(I prefer using it over the GG for wax application).

Here's a pic after a poorboy's spray and wipe(contains no gloss enhancers) wipedown of light dust. The SN hybrid has fully cured. I think it looks very nice. Gives a brisk shine and a nice gloss(in certain lighting). No other wax I've used looks better or worse. On silver, I think all good quality waxes will look about the same. The only downfall is SN hybrid wasn't as easy to remove as the pinnacle waxes, but not a huge deal. If the durability is good as claimed(3-6 months), this will be my LSP of choice. If the durability falls short of 3 months, I will go back to Sig Series II.

Here's another pic from a distance through a window.

Looks awesome, IMO!!! SN Hybrid is growing on me!

Mark, I can understand your feelings about LSP's. For 15 years i've been rubbing Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze into my El Camino's paint. Very few LSP's added anything to the gloss I achieved with #7; most actually toned it down a bit. I tried numerous OTC waxes over the years, and the only ones that didn't dull the finish slightly were Meg's NXT and the Blue Coral with fomblin that Dennis Weaver use to pitch in the 90's on late-night infomercials. In addition I had to deal with old SS lacquer paint that was extremely sensitive to streaking. Joining up here has exposed a whole new array of possibilities. So far, Collinite 845 is looking good, as well as Optimum's wax. There's something to be said for the fun of experimenting with new stuff, but my shelves are bulging with product.
Enjoy!

Wow, that car is beyond shiny.

For those who think Silver can not shine this is an education. :buffing:

I read an article in Consumers reports magizine, that said on new paint forumlas there is not need to Wax or Sealant a car.
