Any suggestions for a good soap for a daily use car?
A soap that has good lubrication and rinses well.
Thanks

Dodo Juice Wax Safe Wash or Dodo Born 2 Be Mild. These both smell GOOD, too. However, they will not add any gloss to the car(which I like). Isn't that what the LSP is for? :)

Dodo Born To Be Mild, Ultima are two of my favorites. Dodo Sour Power and Duragloss 901 are nice if you need to amp up the gloss.

Any pbma soap is great, esp. When on sale. I think I'll try dodo or 901 next.

what would be a good soap that would amp up gloss for a basic wash to "wow a cheap customer" ?

I'd like to hear other people's experiences with car wash soap and their favorites.

I just have Gold Class right now since it was on sale at Target a while ago!

Optimum Car Wash is my favorite.I also use and like Megs Gold Class and DG 901. Both Megs and the Duragloss are available locally.

Duragloss, Poorboys, Griots, and Optimum rank well and can be used quite often.

For a glossing enhancing shampoo I really like CG Glossworkz and Autoglym shampoo.

General washing DG 901/Opt car wash/PB SS&S

My over all favorite is DJ BTBM.

DG 901 for me, just ordered a gallon of it. Still have some Optimum Car Wash, and a little PB SSS. Can't go wrong with any one of those.:xyxthumbs:

if you want to WOW a customer on the cheap here is what i do on basic washes .... Shampoo Plus by the Gallon $12 ... wash it up, rinse, flood and THEN while wet hit every panel with Megs Synthetic Spray Wax ($25) per gallon and then dry as normal ... not only does it make drying streak free but you get some really good gloss and protection.
So there is my secret car wash WOW recipe :)

Chemical guys make some great shampoos, glossworks and citrus wash and gloss are great.
DG, as well as the DP, wolfgange, and Pinnacle are all nice as well.

I am a huge DG 901 fan. In fact, I just took delivery of my 2nd 5 gal pail of it.
