Mothers VLR Impressions...

thx for your comments, i'm gonna give this product a try based on them. :) I have found that most any of the Mothers products that I have tried work very well.

I bought there Synwax paste wax in a pinch to wax my parents car while I was in Florida. There car is white. I was amazed how well it cleaned the paint and the bright glossy finish that it left, as well as how it repelled dust. It also did not stain trim like basically any OTC wax I have used. I'm very impressed with this product in paste form. strong durability as well. IMO no doubt the best overall OTC wax I have tried. It cleaned, shined and protected the paint better than some of the professional products I have at home.

Well, I was out today and decided to pick up some VLR because of this thread. Hopefully I will get a chance to test it out later today.

Luckily my brother was home today, so I got to try this on his black dashboard. I did the left side with Natural Shine, and the right side with VLR. What I found is that the Natural Shine is defiantly a little more shiny than the VLR, and it is in fact greasier than the VLR. That said, I am not sure yet which I like better as far as look. The Natural shine seems like it darkens more, to my eyes anyway.

Thanks for the update! I did make it very clear that VLR has very little sheen. It does darken to some extent, at least noticeably more compared to Sonax Dashboard Cleaner(matte finish).

I defiantly like this product for its lack of grease alone. I always thought Natural Shine had little grease, but VLR brings lack of grease to a whole new level. I am going to try this on the leather seats in my girlfriends Kia Soul this weekend hopefully.
